I'm always more interested in a select 5-10 player's individual results in the events and seeing how they perform to determine if any have a hope to one day be on the LPGA and a contender.

From ULCA to the LPGA, many expected some good things from Alison, but it never panned out, including not a LPGA win.

 

She played pretty well in 2015. I know GimmeGate from the Solheim kind of scared her a bit, but it's an exhibition. Alison's trajectory went downwards after Solheim.

 

Then again, Fassi, is playing the Epson tour now.

Golf is hard.

After my garbage round there weere thoughts of me throwing in the towel.😄

Too bad she didn't get a win in late-2023 (was playing very well).  She also had a chance in early-2015 (played in the final group on Sunday at the Kingsmill; I think this was Minjee's first win).

I read somewhere a month or so ago that she will return in 2026, this year is a set-up with practice prep and whatever for that.

 

She'll be obeying the maternity leave rules.

I really enjoy the Asian swing.  Prime time west coast golf starting on Wednesday.  

 

I'm also super looking forward to the next event, and the introduction of the new pace of play rules.  The absolute worst part of watching pro golf on tv is the horridly long pre-shot routines a handful of players have.  Watching final groups standing on tee boxes for 10+ minutes while they wait for the fairway to clear makes me turn off the coverage.  So I want full on carnage.  You get stroked, you get stroked, you miss the cut from the stroking etc.  I hope players get stroked, and it makes the news cycle across the entire golf media world.

I wouldn't get too excited about the pace of play changes. The new rules are only in effect when a group is on the clock, which is a rarity. Expect to see plenty of players spending 1 to 2 minutes per shot.
