Man I’ve only owned Nike golf shoes till this point but im about to order some adidas 360’s. No idea what’s going on here

That would just be Footjoy, no? Of course Nike is going to try to do something more innovative. It's Nike, that's what they do. I'd say this is a pretty classic looking shoe for them.

But with some tech in it. Just seems that when they put tech in it, they get really artsy.

The Victory Tour 3 has nike air in it and I immediately noticed a difference (actually bought without realizing and noticed the difference, that kind of difference) with a pretty clean classic look. The VT4 have an even more traditional look and if they have the air pocket would be stellar if the last works with your foot.

The VT3 only has the air pocket under the forefoot. The VT2 had a full air pocket under the entire foot.  The VT3 is a great shoe and the heel is an improvement over the VT2, but was a bit firmer than the VT2 due to that.  VT4 needs the full air pocket.

Yeah see I never had the VT2. It does make me wonder, based on my experience with Adidas Tour 360's, if a soft heel results in more heel wear (my big problem) though.

Not really. I'm over Nike golf shoes for the most point. I still have a pair of VT2 and VT3 NIB, a couple of new ZG23 pairs as well. If I buy anything this year it would likely be the Adizero ZG. I'm not crazy about the VT4 pictures I've seen so far.

Wait so they're just...marginally different? The Orange/White and Green/white less so but at least the sky/navy has a tad more difference than the others that were just released.

They have the most stupid, random release schedule, regular, wide, Boa, other colors, just randomly dropped, but never just all at once.

 

I have lost interest several times waiting on a certain color in wide, come out 8 weeks later, whatever….

What material is that outer foot support? I figured it was harder plastic but from here it looks more like an artificial rubber/silicone or something.

You would think that should be staple, main colorway, but no, red swoosh with a rose/v***** colored side plate is what we bring to the PGA show.

It's different and I kind of like it. Don't love the red but I'm liking the shoe overall. It's Nike, obviously they are going try to do something a little different, and that's why I like Nike. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I appreciate a simple white shoe but don't mind this one. There's other brands for a plain white shoe.
