Does anyone know if there are other retailers that will carry the PGA shoes besides NDC? Nike just seems extremely unreliable and will probably release these after the tournament for all I know.

they are showing on Carls right now, but noticed there stock is somewhat limited these days when they drop

sorry I wasn't more specific. They will be available on Carls per the release date but stock seems to be low when they have done releases this year. Did not seem to be an issue in the past.

Tried on the Victory Pro at our local Dick's, which happened to have both a 12 and 13 in stock. Sadly, I desperately need a 12.5 that appears to be vaporware. The 13s are far too large, whereas the 12s are too snug to walk 18 in.

 

Shame, as they appear to be quite comfortable and with a proper stable platform. I didn't love how the leather deformed slightly around the swoosh on the medial side, but I'd bet in the right size it'd clean up a hair.

 

Think that would probably mean I want to try the Tour, all things considered.

This is exactly what I found trying the VP4s on in the store. The profile looked/felt exactly like the AD3s. I still wear my AD3s sometimes, but I'd prefer it if the profile of the VP4s was slimmer. Doesn't look like I'll be getting the VP4s.

I have both and I think the VPs fit more snug than the VTs. The VT tongues start to move to the side and it's really annoying.

Anyone have any opinions on how the lockdown is on the VP4s or VT4s this year? I push pretty aggressively through the ground and just looking for something super stable

VP4 seemed very stable underfoot. Not quite FJ Tour Alpha, but close.

Is your action more aggressive than Rory's or Scottie's? The shoes appear to work for them.

VP4’s just came in and I can already tell I’m going to love these. Haven’t bought Nike in a few years because I really disliked the infinity tours and any other Nike offering looks wise. These remind me a lot of the react vapors and the lunar controls of years past with more cushion. I see a few different colorways of these finding my closet this summer.

Downsides to not being a pro athlete let alone the 1 and 2 best golfers on earth, we cant have them made on lasts specific to us🤣 but is rorys aggressive? Scottie on the other hand i dont know how he doesnt have athritis in both his ankles by now

VP4 is a solid shoe, but after messing around with them for a few days I highly recommend going up half a size.  I'm a 9.5 in Jordan 1 Low G and normally a 10 in Nike and Adidas.  The 10s in the VP4 were tight in the toe.  Tried to stretch them out but going up to the 10.5 is perfect.

on the Pros I went with the wide version in my regular size and fitted well, a regular would have been too tight

it feels like the rorys in masters edition have been on status 'coming soon' for 2 months in NDC

does anyone think that maybe some day they are just going to disapear from the site and they wont be availabe ever again? the regular size came and went, the wide version is in limbo

Can anyone with an existing pair of the VT4s comment on whether they would be fine for players with flat feet? I have a pair of VP4s waiting in the box until after the release of the PGA VT4s. However, I’m wondering if that arch drop is going to cause me some issues.

I can’t believe the morons over at Nike don’t release shoes until after the tournament starts. This is a huge miss IMO and the desirability will drop significantly on these PEs once the tournament ends. The release schedule is just a joke.

I heard that the VP4s for the PGA championship that Scotty is wearing will not be released to the public. We’ll see if it’s true or not.

So here is a fun fact about the VP4s for everyone… so I was able to get a pair of the Masters colorway from a friend overseas. I got them in a size 9 … Which is my normal size.

 

I ordered a pair of the regular white ones from NDC in a 9 wide, because the regular size isn’t available yet.

 

The pair that I got from overseas fits and feels better than the 9 wide that I bought here in the US.  I sent the 9W back…it’s just too tight in the toe box.  You can’t make this up. Lol.
