The heel and other cushing felt great, Nice and snug in the heel. I was afraid a larger size would make the heel slip out.

 

Really bummed about it 

May give them a few days around the house to see

That sucks, might avoid these then but the VP4 are great for toe space. 

 

A lot of brands will used a super thick insole for cushioning but just takes up a ton of space in shoes. I've had some crazy thick insoles in shoes I swapped out and made a major difference.

I am on the hunt for new shoes as my UA Drive Pro are just about done

Was going to try the G Fore O2 but they seem like microwaves for your feet

Had a pair of MG4+ that I really liked

I think I will give the HyperFlex Carbon a go next

Or go spikeless with the ZG Spikeless from Adidas

Or I might just order another pair of the UA in a different color. 

The Drive Pro is a solid shoe

They will be heading back because Nike has still not widen the toe box

I am nowhere near a wide foot and these shoes are squishing my toes

I tried on the new Hyperflex by Footjoy and these are more comfortable but the FootJoy has more room in the toe box

I am upset because they look awesome and the heel is super comfortable

I have never even sniffed a wide shoe in my life yet these are not working

I keep trying them on hoping they will loosen up but I am just desperate at this point 

 

I might try the G4 but now I am seeing that they are super hot and that is not a good combo in the South in the summer

 

Not sure where I am going with my shoe choice but I could not be more disappointed that these did not work

 

They look and feel awesome, with the exception of my toes

 

 

 

Maybe you need a half-size larger in this particular shoe.

I thought about that too

Unfortunately, they were sold out of the size I would need to move up to.

My foot fit nicely into the shoe and other brands fit perfectly fine in my normal size

I don't normally wear Nike because they have been narrow in the oe box but I was reading that they expanded it in this model

So I thought I would give them a go

 

 

If I could find them in the wild, I would try it.

Have you looked at the Adidas MC80? Very wide toe box, lightweight, and very comfortable.

Did you try the VT2 or VT3? Both of those shoes have a pretty wide toe box to me (the VT2 especially). You could probably find new pairs for a song at this point.

If you want spiked, the New Balance Brighton is a good one with a nice wide toe box. They are also lightweight and surprisingly very stable. They aren’t going to win any fashion awards but are really good shoes.

That's because it's not a marquee shoe. It's a step down from the VT4 in Nike's eyes so will be treated as such.

My second round with the VP4, played the Canadian Open course from a few weeks ago. I can't believe I'm saying this i like a Nike golf shoe. Good all day, one small slip but was a ball above my feet lie, probably just swap the spikes to my preference. 

 

They clean up easy as well which is nice. Could see myself grabbing another colour or two in the future.

Completely agree. I’ve been playing Ecco for the last 10 years, but the VP4’s are fantastic. I wish they’d release the US Open colorway.

While extra colorway would be nice I'm just hoping they keep the shoe the same when they update it. Just looking at VP3 it's a completely different shoe, but if this is the Scottie shoe I'm sure it will stick for a while.

I can see that Roshe DNA in these as well. Except I had a pair and they killed my feet, these are much better overall.

Played a ton of golf in the Rose Tours. The VP4's are much more cushy.

I’m torn on my VT4’s, they are the most comfortable Nike shoe I’ve work in years, currently wearing the Masters ones and have a new pair of the photon grey in box, however, I’ve not played well since wearing them, it might NOT be the shoes but seems weird…..has anyone had a shoe that affects their swing?? (Or am I being an idiot?? 😂😂)
