What do you think Mizuno S1, 2 & 4 will be?

I'm really curious to see the direction Mizuno goes with this signature line. It wouldn't really make sense to release 3 blade like irons as S1-S3. There would be too much overlap. S-1 blade, S2 cut muscle, S-3 shallow cavity? There has to be something else going on. Time will tell.

I think that is exactly what is going on lol. But with a 4-6 year product cycle I think that makes sense, then you can focus on the players cavity and hollow body models with the MP 26X line.

I wouldn't complain if that is the case. The more Mizuno irons the better.

Yeah but Mizuno doesn’t do the branded lead tape like Titleist so I’m out on this release

I picked up a set of s3s and they look small behind the ball…. I can’t imagine a smaller club

 

( I have a set of 241s for comparison and they look they same size - I also sat it next to the new t100 on Friday and the t100 look much more friendly behind the ball)

I tested the S3 this Spring, and just rolled the dice in a totally different shaft, which was not smart. The look incredible from every angle, but are not a forgiving iron, little much for me, especially being used to playing off a 44* PW.  
 

I am excited to see what is next, not sure the new T150 has me excited enough to jump from my T100S.

 

Curious how the rest of the release goes, maybe S1 now, S4 next Spring, S2 this time next year?

I’ve been crossing fingers that that’s what the S2 would be.  Otherwise I have no idea what what slot in between with S1 presumably being a blade and S3.

Initial impression, not loving the aesthetic of the channel. Reminds me a lil bit of the 32s.

Strange to see Mizzy’s premier MB blade not be chrome. Tho I do like this finish a lot.
