What do you think Mizuno S1, 2 & 4 will be?

Well the channel back guessers were correct. And the ones who said it wouldn't release this year were wrong. Looks like a flatter soled 241 like Keith Mitchell would like...

The signautre line is a one model release per year schedule.

Sounds like the signature line will be classic players clubs and 243/245 replacement will be more of like what the jpx (players tech) lines was and should be.

 

it would be hard to build a distance iron to combo with the s3, its a tiny iron and anything you combo with it that offers help will be gigantic.

Someone said the S1 would blend well w/the Ping 240s (thinkin’ they were just saying they think both are ugly???) But I thought, ya could hide/eclipse an entire set of S1s behind a 240 8i! Haha

I haven’t seen the s1, but it’s hard to imagine a smaller iron than the s3.  For comparison I did t100 fitting over the weekend and compared to my s3s the t100 felt like hitting a players distance looking iron (in a good way)

Are you thinking about making the switch to the new t100 vs your S3's? 

 

My S3's finally arrive this Thursday and with all this new gear coming out, I am starting to have regrets lol!

Maybe.  I ordered a set.  Good shots are the same between the two clubs, but mishit are significant better were the t100.

 

i had to bend the t100 2 weak to feel good going through the turf.  At stock loft they felt diggy/stick and I would not have purchased

Good point, either have I. Need to do better posting opinions here based solely on the pics and assumptions 😞

 

And yes! Just last week I was in my local shop and compared the S3 to many of the other OEMs players irons. It was def the smallest. Absolutely gorgeous tho!

first impressions of the comparison was the S3s look and feel better. I think the extra weight in the T100 fitting head could be causing some feel issues though..

Blade length actually looks pretty big vs the 241. Im going to bet these will be similar to the TW blades in size.

Could be that.  
 

did you try the t100 weak?  I didn’t like the how they felt until I moved them 2 degrees weak.  Once I did that strike got better.

That would be much larger than the s3, atleast from heel to toe
