Also fwiw I play and compared the regular 6.0 PX which is soft stepped.  Just for a point of reference.

Having played standard 120g PX 6.0 Blue label for many years and PX 5.5 Blue for a few years in 620 MB & 620 CB, I know the shaft's characteristics.  PX is my #1 shaft.  Had PXi in an old 2 iron, it didn't make the cut.  

 

I've been playing Composite since 2018.  Until a few weeks back, when I bought a set of new 110g PX 6.0 Red shafts and had them put in 2023 T100 5i-PW at D2.  

 

My fast tempo has always got along far better with an x-stiff handle, stiff mid and tip.  These days, it appears lighter PX Red 6.0 shafts fit me a shade better than the heavier PX Blue 6.0.  They help get the ball up, a tad faster than Blue; thus, distances are increasing.

Eyeballing when 2025 ProV1 hits greens, ball stops quickly and spins backward a bit, like PX 6.0 Blue.  I also have PX Red 6.0 in Vokey 47.11 PW and like the results, easy to control trajectory as well as spin.  Last weekend pin in back of long green, 15+ yds off the front using 47, ball landed exactly where I wanted, released and rolled nicely up and into the cup, saving par and 1 over 37 on the front.  Me happy!

 

As I write this, I am thrilled with PX Red 6.0 performing up to my expectations.  Might even put PX Red 6.0 in my 4i, who knows.

I was recently fit into dynamic gold 115 mid.  As a longtime px player I wonder if the PX red would be similar to the DG 115 Mid.  Looks like the red is 5 grams lighter than the dg 115 Mid.

I am about to give a set of the Red 6.0’s a go. Longtime PX Rifle 5.5 and 6.0 player, though more 5.5 in recent years (what I am playing now in New Level 702CBs). True Temper says the Red has the same profile as the Blue in the butt and mid, but the Red is a touch softer in the tip section. Looking forward to comparing.

I moved from px 6.0 to px lz 6.0 in last two iron sets, it was a close call, dispersion better with px but occasional swings without full commitment better with px lz. Any reason to try the red?

I would say no. 

 

PX Red 110g is for fast tempo users, really stiff butt, and mid with a slightly softer tip section than PX Blue.  Whereas DG 115 mid has a softer butt, stiffer mid and soft active tip.

I’m a long term Modus 120 user and have decided to give the reds a try. I currently have a set of Miura TC202’s being built with red 6.0’s and hope they help me squeeze a couple of extra yards. The modus in my 201’s is very consistent but I’ve always felt I’m losing about 3-5 yards from what I want to see.

I noticed Callaway is offering them for the Apex lineup — Ai200, CB, Pro, maybe others. I’ve been looking at the Ai200s.

Based on history, TT/PX leadership probably wants to see if robust market demand develops.  If so, most likey.

Titleist Will with the new line. Was just fit into them yesterday

I went from px to px lz in my last two titleist fittings, where would you say this fitted in relative to those?

I have the reds in my TC202’s and to me they are like an IO/LZ hybrid. I’m actually a fan of them coming from Modus 120’s.

Have you tried the PX wedge shaft? I have them in my wedges and play blue px 6.0 and to me they match up well. It is what I think I would still play if moved to the red.

hey thanks that’s a nice idea …never tried PX wedge shaft …. will see if I can demo it somewhere.
