Totally agree, the feel is like nothing I’ve ever hit before. If they can get an efficient program going we’re customers can order different sole widths, top lines, offset etc it would completely turn the whole industry on its head. The fitting capabilities are endless!

They feel better, I don’t know how to quantify that. Also, shape is nicer which is important to me.

Inspired by this thread I went to the Cobra site to window shop. $210 up charge for DG Mid 115??? Every other OEM I’ve seen it’s no up charge. Makes the $3,000 price tag even less appealing. But def seems to be a special iron.

In an interview with cobra it was implied that they made him 2 prototypes, with different materials, shaped more like the his previous irons.  It would make each iron set a 1 of 1 set, shaped similar to his Titliest irons.

Hommas made for set of MBs (6-pw) are 3d printed, are 1 of 1, and similar in shape to his Titliest irons.  (This is what the poster was clearly talking about)

 

Techincially he’s playing a cb 5  and retail limited 3d 4 iron.  
 

Whats wrong about the above?

I’ve had the LIMIT3D for about two weeks now and they’re incredible. Best irons I’ve ever hit by a long shot. Looks like a blade from the top, feels like a blade off the middle, forgiveness of a gap improvement iron and distance of a toe distance iron. I’m hitting greens that previously I would have been short with my T150’s and the 4 iron is more forgiving than my T200 utility.

 

BTW, I was advised they are just rebranded Limit3D so I’m looking to add the 3 iron and GW to my set. If they feel different it may be psychological or a shaft difference.

Thanks. Design looks very similar although it seems like the 3DP tour has a stronger loft and a thicker sole? Maybe a slightly more forgiving club than the Limit3d. Might work out well in the 3 iron but not sure I’d want that in the GW so may stick to my vokey.

Doing some analysing and i think they are the same. The groove pattern on the two is indentical in one picture which I assume is the 3dp and limited. The higher loft is actually the CB as the loft specs for the two irons is identical pre am I seeing this wrong?

I don’t believe it’s correct. The info I saw said the whole 3dp range was getting released in March.

I was quoted a set WITH a gap wedge that is estimated to ship in a week. There was no mention that the gap would be delayed.
