everyone from the get-go has stated, and they are correct, these are at least 500 if not 750 rpms less than king tours.

75 rounds on these irons now. They have been great for me. No regrets going with these this season. Yeah they were expensive but they might save me money in the long run I think they will be in the bag a while.

Why don’t you email them or call them asking for a quote instead of continuing ask on the forum?

 

they can give you a quote and the answers to all those questions better and faster than anyone on the. forums…..

I understand. Not trying to be an annoyance. I just didn’t realize you could find new clubs below retail. I’ve heard this about DDs several times. Will give them a call. Thanks.

If you know where to look and ask there are a lot of things in the industry you can get below retail, except balls those are kinda thin margins.

I just tried this. Got a quote on a set of srixons within a few hours and the price blew my socks off. They laugh at retail apparently. It was so good I don't even want to say what it was because it feels wrong.

I got 3DP Tours and am really struggling with squaring the face. The toe just lags behind so much for me. Anyone else experience this? 

 

I have them built to D2-D3 swing weight with project x 6.5 rifle shafts. 97-98 mph swing speed with 7 iron. I really liked this shaft when I tested it in the t150 - definitely was my favorite one out of the dynamic gold, c-taper, $-taper, etc. I bought the 3DP's used with a KBS Tour 120 $-taper. Played with them for a round or so. I still struggled to square the face, but not quite as much if I remember correctly. So not really sure if it's the shaft.

 

I previously played 714 ap2's with DG S300's. Didn't struggle to square the face with those.

 

Maybe I just start slapping some lead tape on the heel?

Can’t answer either question definitively, but I would assume the MBs will be similar forgiveness-wise in terms of proportion. I expect the MBs to be forgiving across the face just as the Tour is, but it will be a smaller profile. So very forgiving for what it is, but a smaller area to hit the ball when compared to the Tour.

My understanding is the MBs they 3d printed for Max was to get a specific shape. It is still a blade. 
 

It is the redistribution of weight that makes the 3DP tour forgiving. If they aren’t redistributing weight in the MBs they won’t really be more forgiving than other blades out there.

As of now, for example, something like a zxi5 or zxi4 vs these 3dp Tours, any idea how much more or less forgiving they are? I can't imagine they're significantly more forgiving than something like a zxi5 when the zxi7 is a similar size club to the tours, but maybe I'm wrong. I'm trying to decide if I need to hit these for sure prior to buying a new set as I want to switch to graphite iron shafts.

I can’t compare to the Srixon as I haven’t tried them. I was told they were more forgiving than the King Tec X. 
 

They are very forgiving. They let me get away with a lot especially when the miss is low toe. 
 

Try them if you can. They are really good irons but hard to say if they would be a fit for you or not.

I can say, for me, they are just as forgiving if not more than the KTX. It also depends on what you consider forgiving. My mishits go straight with good distance. To me, that is forgiveness. The MOI has to be off the charts with the 3DP.

I found the forgiveness on my 3DP iron better than the T200 utility iron which was a much thicker iron than the standard T200. I would say it's on a par with a lot of game improvement irons, but it doesn't have the hot spot issue that game improvements have.

I would say the 3dp's are more forgiving, but in different ways than the King Tour 

the KT's are still very forgiving 

but whatever that delta is was Not enough to convince me 

 

the spin is of a hollow body, even if not officially  

I can't play a set like that and succeed 

 

back waiting for the 2026 King Tour to be launched

... Faced with a 157yd par 3 into a gentle 5mph wind yesterday, I decided to hit my 7 iron which is my 160 club. Evidently I didn't think I had enough club with the wind subconsciously and swung a little harder than normal. I could tell I hit it on the toe and expected to miss the green right, but it flew at the hole and actually hit the stick. I looked on the sole and sure enough it was a hair more than 1/2" toward the toe. 🫣  So yea, I think the forgiveness is off the charts for a players iron.

That’s my exact experience as well (minus hitting the flagstick). 7 iron is my 160 club as well and I can damn near hit it outside the grooves and still carry it 150.

Yeah. It’s sometimes entertaining because I’ll hit it and say “oh, I didn’t get that” and it hits the green and my playing partners look at me like I’ve lost my mind and i

don’t know when I have hit the middle of the club.
