Yeah, I just tried to spread the word, along with the OP and others, so that people were aware and wouldn’t make the same mistake.

 

It’s amazing how so many people said “do your research”, but then they attacked the people trying to spread the word and help people do their research, Lol!!

I found out thanks to this thread that I bought the watered down version some months ago. I'm a bad golfer (20 HCP) so I can't blame it on the club for my slices, but I can't help wondering if the real club (or a club with top current tech) would help me, or at least help reducing the misses.

If he took the exact same OG version of this club with the same shaft, it wouldn't change a bad swing causing a slice.

Makes me wonder if callaway was planning to fill a big order for Costco but the deal fell through.  So they wound up with a ton of inventory of these dumbed down versions to have to get rid of.
