I hit them head to head indoor.

edge to eylte on peak ball speed and spin in perfect strikes. It seemed to want to right on me more than any previous interaction of the TD or any other driver I hit that day. Could have been the shaft as it was the only 65 gram shaft I hit that day. All others were 75.

ping wins everything else. Consistency or ball speed, launch and spin were all better. Ball speed was only a little slower than the eylte and much closer relatively to earlier lsts which allow seemed a bit slow for me. Higher launching and finally a true low spin head. It was #2 in my fit behind gt3 which was measurable better than both.

Everything I hear about the G440 LST is that the ball speed is on par with most others now but it keeps the forgiveness and consistency that the LST line is known for. Bottom line is I might have to book a fitting with Ping to test.

Yea I did at a fitting event at my club.

Elyte TD was the easiest to set up since I already game the smoke TD so I can use my shaft my grip (jumbomax xs) and play at 45". I wasnt even keen on trying it as I was more interested in the Ti FW but they are backordered to get the heads to the fitters. So I just tried it out just to kill time until the one. But takeaway was different sound and feel by far. Was interesting that the stock weights for elyte TD was a 9g 5g while my smoke is 14g 2g. I have smoke with 9g 7g. Not sure if they decided to have the stock weight lighter or if the head weighs more thus leaving off the 2g. But with that felt like the elyte is a bit "safer" than the smoke TD. Def spins a tad more loft for loft. Speeds were about the same. Nothing remarkable.

The Ping however I came out pretty impressed. For using a standard grip playing at 45.75" I was hitting it pretty decent. Had some terrible impacts testing all the face and none of were like going to be super punishing if I were on a course mainly side to side dispersion. The sound is so much better. Granite it was outside but even so did not have that ringing "ping" as amplified. Speeds were pretty similar but had the extra length so im sure if I built both the same specs it will be just a tick slower but not much maybe 1-2mph bs at most. Looked fine at address the more compact profile suits my eye and turbulators were not too distracting. Only slight nock if that is the face depth difference is pretty noticeable comparatively. But can get over it if i gamed it.

But neither one has me wanting to switch as I am pretty dialed with the smoke TD and still is the best sounding driver Ive had and hard to get over it.

Tested them both. Went in really wanting the Ping but after hitting both I ultimately went with the Elyte triple D. Everything was better for me personally - tighter dispersion and longer distance. Also just felt way more confident looking down at the ball - Elyte looks cleaner to me.
