2.  Here’s you a location.

TPI Oceanside, CA - when you schedule your fit be specific and say you would like to have the left dot as an option.

now there you have it, a physical location you can get fit at.

Titleist staffers can still order some. If you get a job as a staffer, you can get all the Left Dots your heart desires. But I have a sneaking suspicion Left Dot is really just AVX. Left Dash is the real deal. Dot might not...

I bought 4 dozen of the left dots when they were released and played a lot of rounds. Definitely different compression than avx. Different dimples as well… the avx was much more shallow dimple pattern too.

Based on how you are responding to these post and implying people are lying, nobody is going to provide you with the name of any person or shop they have a relationship with.

which takes us back to why I’m recommending  you reach out to your local rep to see if they can help.

You’ve got way more patience than I do with this guy. Typical newbie trying to come in with guns blazin’ and accusing others of being rude to him.🤯

FYI for those in this thread.  I now have 6 months in with the Left Dot in the bag.  Did a “formal” comparison to the 2023 Prov1 today.  Like many in this thread, I expected the Dot to be the answer to all life’s problems.  While I really like it and may well keep playing it, I don’t know that it’s the revelation everyone hopes it to be.

Other myths in this thread:

1. Left Dot and AVX aren’t even on the same planet.  Prov1x is probably closer to Left Dot than AVX.

2. In my review above, I note that Left Dot actually spins MORE than 2023 Prov1 in most spots in the bag.

3. Contrary to popular belief, at the FITTING you do through TITLEIST for the ball, it is not presented to you by a unicorn and does not feature a rainbow shot tracer when struck.

Planning to add to my linked thread above tomorrow with comparisons of Left Dash and 2025 Prov1x and Prov1.

Congrats -

A suggestion and a couple questions:

Suggestion: Sell em on eBay and make some serious profits

1) I assume, but will ask - are you paying $55 per dozen?

2) What is the process for restocking - do you have an inside titleist number?  Email link to click on to order?

$55 a dozen.  Place orders through my home golf club whenever I need more.  Don’t have any need to sell them, and just because they’re listed for those stupid prices doesn’t mean people are paying it.

My home club is irrelevant.  @Pnwpingi210 correctly laid it out.  Get in touch with your local Titleist rep. Most places that carry Titleist fitting carts can make that introduction.  I already knew them so reached out on my own.  I asked to do a ball fitting for Left Dot.  You are right in one respect which is that it’s not just readily offered and you have to do some asking the right way.  My understanding is also they won’t fit you for it or sell it to you if they don’t think it actually fits you.  But I’m on about Titleist club 1,000 and have been fit dozens of times, so asking the people who fit me is no big deal and they agreed right out of the gate that I’d be a candidate.  You kind of have to get “approval” for lack of a better word.  I imagine they do this because they don’t really intend to mass sell the ball and maybe make limited amounts and/or will discontinue it altogether at some point.  As you can see in my other post, I’d be happy playing the Prov1 and wouldn’t consider it a major difference.  The new Prov1x is also very very intriguing.

I was going to leave this thread alone, but you haven't yet figured out that this is a fool's errand... it is highly unlikely you'd get fit into the left dot and you're not going to just walk up to @CallawayLefty's home club and buy a dozen.

In another thread you mentioned having been a physics major, so then you know that even if you don't have the ideal information available to you, you can still put together a pretty good picture of the situation.  Ideally, you'd have launch monitor numbers which would show whether or not you are a candidate for the left dot, but in the absence of that, here's what we have.  You have recently started a thread wondering if you and other average golfers would score the same using a pro V1 or a supersoft.  You started a thread asking about options for other hybrids because you don't hit your long hybrids high enough.  There were also some other posts from you (maybe in the loft jacking thread) where you referred to yourself as not a long hitter.

I think if you'd take a step back and get over the FOMO with the left dot, you'd see that a ball made for elite ball speed players that need a flatter trajectory is not going to revolutionize the game of an average golfer that needs to hit the ball higher with more spin and isn't even sure if they are benefiting from a tour level golf ball.

Correct that you won't be walking up to my home club and buying a dozen 😄

And if @AverageGopher wants to check my other thread, there's lots of good info in there about the characteristics of all the recent Titleist balls.  Lowest launch ball (for me - a reasonably high swing speed player) - 25 ProV1X.  Highest ball speeds (other than tired driver swings at the end) - 25 ProV1X.  Lowest apex - varies, but ProV1X probably leading the pack.  Lowest spin - varies, but ProV1X performing incredibly well on all shots.  I just note that because to the whole point of my other thread, the Left Dot is very, very good, but so are all the others.  I wouldn't consider myself a V1X guy, but I may well be trying it after a little more testing.  The differences between these balls is just minute to say the least.  It's probably why Titleist has long encouraged people to fit from pitching backwards, because once you get into the long game, it's absolutely splitting hairs.

The key part of that is really the "private" aspect, less so than the "fancy."  I chuckle a bit about someone just randomly calling my head pro to say they want to buy 1 dozen Left Dots because they read online that he has the "hook up."  😆

Actually went to my local muni (Eastern, OH) - the guy in the pro shop is going to hook me up with a titleist rep and thinks no problem on left dot.  Says he knows plenty of golfers that have gotten fitted for it at the course.  Says its no big deal and not hard to get fitted for it even though some folks may say so.

Though point well taken - havent met anyone above a 3 or a 4 that plays prov1 or prov1x which are made for and used by the elite.

One of my friends knows a guy though that is a 15 handicap and plays left dash though he is apparently a very strange person.

I have taken not one but two steps back and a look over my shoulder since it seems my profile and posts are read and my activity is closely followed.

After I get fitted for left dot, Ill sell em for a profit and stick with the warbird ball.

Wait you’re getting a ball fitting?  Are you sure you’re not just a corporate plant from Acushnet?

@Pnwpingi210 apparently we have been expertly played.  This whole thread was nothing more than an elaborate marketing ploy for more ball fittings!!!!

Option 1 - I can buy left dash anytime, anyplace.  Leftdot - nope.

Option 2 - no ball fittings/fitters will give you and/or fit you into left dot.  This is pure fiction.  You cannot name a single fitter/place that does. My point is proven.  Give it a rest and stop saying you can buy these balls at retail price - doesn't happen, doesn't exist and if it did, they would not cost so much on eBay.

left dot isnt a retail ball lol....of course you cant buy it anywhere...... Go take a plant tour and pick up 2 dozen when you leave. Thats the path of least resistance if you can get there easily
