I think he won himself a lot of control over his future with taylormade after sticking with the qi10 then winning at augusta. Also, I think his deal expires next year (signed a 10 year deal in 2017)... I expect he would sign a lifetime deal with TM that basically lets him play whatever he wants to

He’s playing a qi35 now with a shorter shafted than last years model.  Thought I would clarify since that seems to be confusing

Took a peek at his drives on tourcast and it looked like he only missed the fairway when he was trying to fade the ball on 8 and 17 and overcooked it. Not horrible missed by any standards though. Drive on 9 also looked like it didn't turn over as much as he expected but it was pretty much dead straight. Other than that all drives looked great.

I honestly didn’t see it and didn’t check it. Just assumed after I saw the scorecard, but as Peak said before, it looks like it wasn’t the driver.

This is inaccurate. Rory went from a 45 inch driver back to a 44 inch driver. Rory has flip flopped between these two lengths multiple times the last two years.

Taylormade better get Rory a driver he likes STAT. His ball speed is significantly lower with that head. I realize the shaft is probably 3/4 of an inch shorter, but that head is trash for him. Not a good look for Taylormade.
