Instead of making a gold driver , why would TMAG not release the dot head ?

 

I have a DOT head qi10 , it’s a great in-between the LS and core?  Their marketing data must speak other wise.  Too many skews / inventory ?  
 

fyi I had a core qi35 , I wanted to like it but looked like a frying pan on the end of a stick  

 

im a long time TMAG fan boy , but this one is making me love my GT2 more and IMOP Titleist is making better drivers than Taylormade at this juncture

According to the Wunder video above he’s now playing about 44.75” in the qi35, and was in the qi10 45.5-45.75” depending on the ruler used

Wunder is wrong. Also Rory himself confirmed in his after round interview that he was playing a 44” driver. Before that he was playing a 45” Qi10 Dot Head

I haven’t that video of Rory after the round.  I do know in the past he’s tended to reference shaft length when talking about his driver length.  Example being the stealth 2 when He went to a shorter shaft.  He kept saying 44 inch driver when it was indeed a 44 inch shaft in this driver, not 44 inch playing length.

The player himself Rory publicly stated he switched to a 44” driver and you want to argue that it’s actually 45” and that he doesn’t know what he is talking about 😂 So I guess when he says he is playing a 45” driver he’s really playing a 46 or whatever you think the length is 🤦‍♂️

You should re read my post.  I said what he’s done in the past when speaking about it.  I didn’t argue with you.  
 

as for the post above, go put a 44inch shaft (end of adapter to end of grip) in modern tm head and measure it.  Take a pic and get back to us 😀

They don’t measure shaft length without the head on the tour truck when discussing club lengths 🤡 “Rory we put you in a 43” shaft today but that’s without the head” “Let’s try this one it’s 45” not including the head” 🤦‍♂️

Yeah and I’m not saying the tour truck said that so all that nonsense you posting is irrelevant to what I posted.

Yup, and the dot heads all start off at a lower weight and get hand hot melted….or so I’ve been told.  Increases production cost for minimal benefit to a very very high percentage of golfers buying these drivers

I would say we should just consult Taylormade's website for Rory's driver specs, but they don't even acknowledge him playing any equipment that is not current model 🤡
