What an incredible trip! I know the participants will be blown away by Wilson irons and wedges. They are simply incredible and get a lot of love from WRX'rs. I am looking forward to the reviews of the new Dynapower woods. They do not get much press and I know the testers will give us an honest review. Please don't blow smoke up our butt's, if the woods do not perform up to your expectations please tell us why. Wilson will be better served with honest feedback.

Have y'all met @radiman? He is an internet golfer but he can back it up with 350 yard drives!

Whoa now, under promise and over deliver.  Don't go putting out big numbers I have to try to live up to 😅.  This weekend golfer is going to be out of his element with cameras around at THE nicest golf property I have ever been on.  As long as I can put the nerves aside and put up a repeatable swing that can find me a good fit, it will be a win.

If I can find more fairways and be in play more often off the tee, I will be a happy camper.

Will do. From everything Ive seem i fully expect them to, but I will definitely provide constructive criticism if it warrants it.

If you followed along during last year's trip, you know it was one that was action packed, full of surprises, and an experience that truly demonstrated Wilson is here to stay among the top golf manufacturers. We're excited to be running it back once again this year as we have four very fortunate member visiting Cabot Citrus Farms to meet with Wilson's team of product experts, test the Wilson Golf's newest and hottest products, play Cabot's Karoo course, and so much more!

Members, alongside @knudson81, will be traveling Monday (2/17), and will be on-site Tuesday and Wednesday. Be sure to any questions that you have in and let us know what you want to see over the next few days as members will be happy to answer any questions that you might have. Follow this thread closely to stay updated, as we will be updating it as frequently as we can with content and information that you do not want to miss!

The four members attending are:

A huge thank you goes out to @Wilson_Golffor having us for this once-in-a-lifetime experience!

I am completely unworthy of something like this,  but eternally grateful for the experience.

If anyone has questions, let me know.   I am running back and forth at work,  so can't write much right now,   but after lunch I will be more active.

I am excited to try everything,  especially those new woods!  I am particularly interested in getting a better handle with the top end of my bag.  Looking hard at a 7 wood 4 wood set up,  or going to a slightly hotter 4 iron as well.   My current set-up is down in the signature.   The Ping S55 4 iron is slightly weak and my Apex Pro hybrid is kind of iffy on consistent distance, so I'm getting a big gap I'd like to better cover.

Also excited to see @radiman bomb some 350 yard drives 😀

Edit:   Since we were selected,  I've been looking at every review of the drivers, the irons,  the golf course...all of it!  I was planning to bring my DSLR and a tripod,  but it looks like Wilson and GolfWRX will have their folks handling a lot of the content.  So I'll focus on getting some good shots with the phone and try to keep the updates flowing in this thread.

I'm really keen to try the Dynapwr LS. Being fade biased and (according to one review) is happy with toe shots - that driver might be a big winner for me. BUT I plan to go into this with a totally open mind and get fit into whatever works the best.  I've been really happy with my current driver (G430 LST) but some days it feels like swinging a sledge hammer with how heavy the head is. I really want to see if Wilson can get bit more ball speed while maintaining the consistency.

It looks like we all get in Monday afternoon/evening. We'll get settled in and have a group dinner. Tuesday will be a super exciting day of fittings, and a sporting experience (axe throwing, shooting, fishing) at Cabot after lunch. That evening we'll be out for some night golf on the Wedge, the lighted par 3 course. It looks amazing!  Wednesday we are scheduled to play the Karoo course.  Fingers crossed the weather holds out for us!  I'm hopeful that it'll rain a little in the morning and we will be able to get a round in before the thunderstorms hit later that afternoon.

So, just left Pga Superstore and low and behold they had a few Dynapwr drivers on the rack. No LS. The max suprised me quite a bit in it wasnt awkwardly big like some other max drivers. Great shaping. The carbon looked fantastic as well. The ONLY thing, i could be critical about is it may just sit a smidge upright for my liking. The specs say otherwise so might just be an optics thing. Very excited to hit them.

Make sure to tell the Wilson guys that since they resurrected the "dynapower" name for the past few releases, next they need to bring back "Killer Whale."

A huge huge thank you to @Wilson_Golf and @GolfWRX_Official for inviting us on this amazing opportunity! In my application post I said that I've been playing golf for over 20 years and never been to a Wilson Fitting Event or tried any Wilson Golf products. I mean that.

I live within driving distance of Pinehurst No.10 and followed all the content from the last Wilson Golf Product Testing and Fitting Experience at Pinehurst No. 10. Needless to say I was really impressed.  On top of that, Cabot Citrus Farms looks awesome and I'm dying to go.

Since being selected I've felt obligated to stay up to date on all the Wilson Golf threads in "Tour & Pre-Release." I've also been following the multiple forum posts in the "Courses & Travel" section on the new courses at Cabot Citrus Farms.

This is something I've thought about a lot since being invited on this trip. Obviously, it's hard to remain unbiased when you're being treated to the trip of a lifetime at one of the newest courses in the U.S.  Add in the personal connections we are all sure to make with the team at Wilson Golf and it will be difficult, no doubt. That being said, the point of this trip is to get real member feedback on Wilson Golf products and I will not compromise on that. I'm also willing to bet that Wilson Golf wouldn't want it any other way.

I've already shared with the group that my current bag is the best bag I've ever owned. I really don't see how it can get much better. My biggest goal for the fitting is a solution to a gap in my bag. Ever since I switched to the Titleist T-150 irons, my 4-iron goes further than my 3-hybrid.  It's effectively redundant. I'm a big fan of Titleist's ball speed gapping that they pushed with the 2023 T-series irons and I'd like to apply that logic to my woods. I'm not sure what exactly I'm looking for. It could be a driving iron, hybrid, or even a fairway wood, but I'd love to find something to fill the gap between my T-150 4-iron and my GT3 15° fairway wood (ideally around 140-141 ball speed).

I have to stop by the shop after work in a little bit.  I think they're getting sick of seeing my face and asking if they've gotten the Wilson woods in yet haha.  I won't have time to hit them and I think I would rather be completely bias free by the fitting.  But I may or may not see if they're in while I am there haha.

I REALLY wanted to hit them, but they were a bit busy and was a bit on a time crunch. Yes, same here, I want to go in Tuesday not having any bias or preconceived notions. I have now seen everything in their lineup (in person) except the wedges

I have hit the irons, and have zero doubt they'd work really really well for me.  The woods are going to be the big question as I think they will be for most people looking at their new lineup.  They've earned some street cred with their irons the past few years.  Now, they have to be able to step up and contend with the tech buzzword heavy driver and wood segment.  The big OEMs spend a lot of money convincing people that their tech is cutting edge and each driver is better than the last through ads and player endorsements.  Can Wilson step up to the plate and prove they belong in the same discussion?

I had a really good year with my Qi10 and my 7w.  To the point where there isn't much out this season so far that has had me antsy to blow up the top of my bag.

I will say that what I have seen of the drivers seems pretty promising.  The drivers look like they're a really good shape.  That deep face and compact footprint of the LS has me pretty excited to hit it.  Aesthetically, they look to be pretty traditional looking shapes which is right up my alley.  But, performance will be king.  And I plan on being as unbiased as I can.  Once this trip is all said and done, I will book some time and do some head to head comparisons on the performance of what I have now and what I end up with from the trip.  Let the numbers do the talking so to speak.

This is going to be an amazing experience for you guys!  Can’t wait to follow along.

I already have the staff cb’s in the bag and was lucky enough to be a part of the ZM wedge testing last season. Needless to say, Wilson has won me over the past couple of seasons with their irons.  Really intrigued with the woods this year.  They look outstanding!

I followed that thread, and the wedges looked really good.  I don't love my 54* right now,  but the 50* and 58* have been good to me - so I'm really intrigued to see how the ZMs compare.  The 58 06 looks like it could be a great challenger to my trusty Tour Gorge TS grind, especially if it's a bit better out of the bunker.
