I only ended up using the 60° through the night golf since all of the holes were sub 100y. They feel really good. Now, dialing in wedge yardages in February after not hitting a ball outside for months is no easy task lol. I could have done a lot better on the night golf but it was really fun no less.

Ended up being a pretty exciting finish to the round. Haven’t seen more than a handful of HIO’s in my life. So, having @Red4282 hole out on the last hole was crazy! Dude has a super smooth swing and was hitting some great shots out there leading up to it too!

Same, in fact....kind of expected a 3 person camera crew (and audio on everyone) providing a live youtube feed of the entire experience along with 70% off Wilson codes provided to random watchers every 10 minutes.  😉

We were lucky enough to beat the rain until the last hole.    Booking it on the back nine, but we made it.

 

@Pure716 is true to his name and played really well. 

 

I faired better chipping instead of putting,  those greens ate my lunch.  If you land in the wrong spot, the ball is just gone.

 

The LS driver really impressed me today. I wasn't sure if it could kick out my g430LST, but being out on the course today.. it is darn close now.  It was surprisingly forgiving for me.

They are really good!  For a forged cb they are easy to hit.  Feels fantastic and more forgiving than my Ping S55s.

Rain started right as we were walking off of the 18th green. Just hanging out waiting for our shuttle. 
 

Man, the LS driver is impressive. The feel is superb. The looks is compact. The face is tall. For anyone who is looking for that old school driver look will like it a lot. 
 

The face has some decent bulge and roll. My miss is toe side. So with that extra curvature, they don’t snap hard left. 
 

The fairways feel great. The 7w is definitely going to go toe to toe with the Ai Smoke I have now. Probably more versatile but we’ll see how they do once I’m home and the snow melts. I have historically struggled with a 3w off the deck. And getting fit into a strong Dynapwr Carbon 3w would kind of crazy. They launch well. Kind of a Ping like head shape. 
 

The irons and wedges are pure. No shocker there. The fitting put me in 2° flat which is way new to me. And I was hitting the left to right flight I wanted. 
 

Amazing experience and I’ll share some more later tonight.

I wish I would have played better. But a Minnesotan in February means who knows what my swing will behave outdoors for the first time in months and months. I struggled with my driver swing this week. Coming through with a really closed face and not generating much spin. 
 

The Dynapwr LS beat my Qi10 hands down in the fitting. But only so much can be done when your face/path are off haha. I got a handle on it at the end and finished the last few holes with good tee shots. 
 

The driver fit was interesting. With the super low spin I was generating during the fitting, we ended up going with the LS which sounds counterintuitive. BUT, it allowed them to put a really heavy weight in the back and keep it fade biased. I ended up with a LinQ Red 6F5. Definitely a lot more movement in the shaft than I’m used to.  But it was a better combo for me than my Qi10/Ventus Blue. I’m really interested to see how it shakes out once my swing is in better shape. Like I said, it was definitely the best combo for me this week. It’s not something I’d typically go for so I’m excited to see how it works long term. 
 

I’m pretty confident that the driver will be put in the bag long term. It was every bit as fast as my gamer. Has front/back weight adjustability. Looks and feels fantastic. 
 

I didn’t expect to be in blades by the end of it. But damn it, they do feel really really good.  Cam and will easily commit to those for this season. 
 

The 7w was used a few times. And I really like the ball flight on it. That one I’m going to do some data comparisons with my current 7w. Honestly, I’ll do it for all of the woods. Will share that on the forum when it happens.

I’m playing the previous Dynapwr 3-wood and it’s face-meltingly good. It elevates so easily, sounds phenomenal, feels phenomenal. It’s a point and shoot club for me, at least as much as any 3 wood can be. I picked it up last year after previously playing Aerojet, Stealth, and Rogue ST Max. I can’t believe more people aren’t playing their fairways.

So finally circling back to this. My gamer has been an AI smoke TD, heavy weight back, Diamana WB 5tx, 45.5”. Maybe not the longest combo Ive ever had, but just seems to hit a ton of fairways for me. I hit mine first, probably about 10-12 balls. Numbers I was seeing on their GC, about 114-115chs, BS mid 160s on good strikes, slight missed low 160s, bad misses high 150s. Peaked at 167. Spin hovering about 2300-2700, with a few bad strikes coming in at about 3000. 
 

Now to the Wilson driver fitting: started with the Carbon head, and hit it ok, but after talking with Harry about what I like to see and my tendencies, he wanted me to try the LS. Almost all testing was done with the Diamana WB 5tx.
 

I struggled to keep the LS from going right. It is fade biased, and I mean REALLY fade biased. I dont like my ball going left especially a snap, but it just felt like I was fighting too hard to keep it from going too far right, and was leading to some bad striking. At some point, I said I think we need to go back to the Carbon, and Harry agreed.

 

By the the time we got dialed in on loft, and weight configuration, where I started hitting my best balls, my speed had came down to about 111 chs. Keep in mind the driver fitting was last for me, and by this point I was started to get a little fatigued. Even tho my speed was down the efficiency number were still good.
 

By the end my good strikes were low 160s bs, and average spin about 2100-2400. I really want to do a head to head when I get home, as they will have the same shaft. I do think I might need to play around with weights or loft just a bit more because playing the next day, I had a few that seemed to dip a bit too soon on me. Just eyeballing.

Ok so now here is the day 2 recap:

 

After breakfast we went back and packed up, then headed to the range. All of us followed last years thread so we knew what their experience was, but weren't expecting the same, but also not completely in the dark about what might happen. Sure enough, there were 4 Vessel bags, with our names on them. Everything we were fit into was there!
 

My bag included the Carbon driver, 13.5 fairway, 16.5 and all with the Diamana WB, 5tx, 6tx, and 7tx. Dynapwr forged irons, 4-7 with 8-P staff cbs. Shafts are Modus 105x. I had talked to them about a UT 3 iron but wasnt expecting that as that would have given me 15 clubs, but they even three that in as well! They also had the Cabot Citrus/Wilson/Golfwrx headcover on all our bags, which was a chefs kiss as we had been all drooling over that thing over the past day and half.
 

A lot of cool accessories and swag as well. Staff gloves, Dozen staff balls, a Cabot leather bag tag with our name on it. Just all around such a great job by the Wilson team. We were told grab our wedges (we already had our customs from last night) and putter, and they were going to ship all our old stuff bag to us. WOW!

 

On to the golf. I was paired with @radiman and Harry whom both are much much faster than me… and of course we play the tips… Im officially a +1 but 7500 yards at sea level… is just ridiculous especially for someone with my speeds. I started with back to back doubles but Im pretty sure I ended up in the low 80s. I honestly have not looked back at it, I quickly didn’t care about score and just wanted to enjoy the experience.  Its incredibly hard to play well in these things, Tough course that you never played cameras everywhere 13 new clubs. Side note, it seemed like the entire Wilson team are really good golfers who can all pound it. Harry is a stick, as many have eluded too before. 
 

Overall I hit some good shots and some bad. I did feel like I drove it better on the back nine. Im really excited to get home and put everything head to head with my stuff. The fairways still remain one of my favorites, they are really good. I hit the 13.5 on the 280yd 3rd hole on the green, closest in our group, and hit several other times as well. It sounds so good, hot and has a great flight. @radiman even mentioned it after one shot, how great it sounds. 
 

Im flying back now. Here are some more photos. I didn't get as many in today. Its been a crazy few days and actually have had very little sleep. Any more questions, Id be happy to answer. I will also follow up later with my overall thoughts on Wilson and their products.

I just boarded the flight back home with @ColdOkieGolf. Then a 3 hour drive from Minneapolis back to the frigid Fargo area. If I can keep my eyes open, I’ll type out some more detailed thoughts back home.

No, while we used our gear to establish a baseline and being fit using GC Quad, they weren’t collecting the data that I’m aware of. It was discussing what we’d like for ball flight, and seeing if we could improve on what we were getting with our own clubs. 
 

Side to side comparisons will probably have to be done by us when we return home. That’s my plan. Get them in my own environment where I’m more comfortable and see what the numbers are. At least with the woods. I’ll probably do a brief head to head with my P7CB and the Staff MB but i think the real question is whether or not the woods can hold their own and claim a place in the bag.
