Sand Valley 2026 Reservations CLOSED

Sand Valley looks to be doing something similar to its sister property Bandon Dunes, with a virtual line. 
 

Just got the email and signed up to make my reservations for 2026. Got the email notification at 8:20 PST, sign up confirmation sent at 8:32 PST, and am number 1260 in line!

Not gonna lie, it's pretty annoying they gave zero advance notice about this. I didn't happen to check my email for a little bit, and bam, I'm 2000 deep in a queue. Would have been nice to know when the signup would go live so people could be prepared.

The queue is fine. But they really should think about giving advance notice when the queue will open to give everyone a fair opportunity. 
 

I was lucky to get out of surgery and saw the email as it was sent. I got a number in the 200s 5 minutes after the email was sent.

Was in a meeting so I didn’t immediately get to it. Logged in 30 minutes after the email was sent and I’m currently #2,207. I’m fine with the queue approach but 100% agree there should have been more advance notice.

I don’t even know if I’m committed to going and was more curious about the process. Now I know I guess. 
 

As strange as it sounds, I wonder if demand is higher through the week because it gives people the opportunity to play The Lido.

I am in the 900s. Completely insane. This is my bitterness talking but can we please enforce a "20 hdcp or lower" requirement for anyone trying to book? If you are higher than that spend that week practicing.

They are unsure on the timing of when The Commons will open so not booking tee times on it yet. 16+ group bookings opened last week and housing options were already limited when it was my turn to go. Good luck!

Yeah, it's going to be a while.  My reservation took 20 minutes and the queue is 2400+ at this point...

was gonna say every time I’ve done a group booking it’s like 15-20 min on the phone hashing out the details. I’m expecting it to be days or weeks before I get called, and low odds they’ll have anything left that works for my group.

Last year we played Lido on Sunday of our weekend trip. Weekends are possible for it

I'm not familiar with the process .....so you are xxx in line......how do you get notified it is your turn to book and how does that work?

The email said you’d get a text message heads up when they are 10 away from your spot in the queue, then when it’s your turn they call you. 
 
There is also a link where you can view your current place in line. They’ve gotten through less than 100 spots so far today, so I’m looking at roughly 15-20 business days before I get my call 😭

Frustrating...   I had thought I caught the email early, about 20 min after it sent and I'm in the 1700's.  Easier to get on the Old than these Keiser resorts.

they said last year they had 11000 calls in the first days. 
300 beds + 800 rounds per day.

11000 incoming calls, or 11000 answered calls? I would assume the former not the latter.

@bcc624 I called the front desk lol. They seemed to say we’d be fine.

i like the math except the average group size of 8. I’d say 4 is probably the average.

Was hoping for an 8 person cottage but not getting too hopeful.

 

When we reserve in this process, in addition to the lodging, I assume it's for tee times as well?

Almost seems to much work to try and get a group there now days.  I like going with just 1 buddy now and now worry about tee times at places like Bandon and Sand Valley.  With 1 guy its pretty easy to get on most days if you are flexible and you get to avoid this circus that they made of it

I don’t understand why everyone in the hundreds is so discouraged. There’s thousands of availabilities, otherwise the business model doesn’t make any sense. I’m still very hopeful

Bandon may be different but that’s no longer the case at SV. I’ve been looking at the 2 weeks following the 4th of July for a chance to book 36 as a single and it doesn’t really exist. Any open tee times seem to be between 11:30-12:20 or so. The tee sheet is open online. Check it out and you will see.
 

Sandbox is always wide open in the morning though lol. Evenings and mid afternoon you can’t even book a time out there.
