Indefinitely banned for grip listing confusion

I misunderstood the grip rule I had 18 grips 

A set of 12 used grips 

3 new in plastic 

3 more in plastic a different model my assumption was the 12 old set equaled 1 set and the other 6 new totalled 7 grips but received a lifetime ban and previous ban was due to selling a set of headcover set then selling another set that they thought were the same headcovers and they were not.ive bought sold on here for many years with no issues and wouldn't think this deserves a lifetime ban for a long time member with a good reputation seem excessive

Nobody gets banned for selling too many grips. 
 

you only get banned for 

1. scamming people 

2.  An excessive amount of warnings for continuing to violate the rules

I'm far from a scammer i was banned last year but was let back in because of the headcover set that should have not have been a issue.the grip issue was the onl6 one this year.i have a very good reputation both buying and selling on her for many years

14 Classified violations since March 2018 seems a bit excessive and like you've not learned any lessons from previous issues.

Several of them like the last 2 in over a year when I post weekly the last 2 should not have been a violation.the others were when I was starting out and accidentally posted within 24hrs or posting something by mistake never once anything close to a scam

And I joined in June of 2015 and I think I received a couple of warning because they thought I was lising the same set of heacovers that were a different set

Bradh972, you are NOT banned from the site. You are more than welcome to enjoy all GolfWRX has to offer outside of the BST and be a contributing member of the community. The only restriction that you are subject to is the revocation of BST privileges. So much more to this community than just the BST!

I'm aware but the ban is excessive and the last several strikes were not warranted like the grips how I understood one set is one and the other 6 adds up to 7 not more then 10 to me that's excessive to ban someone maybe delete it and explain what was wrong with the post

The mods gave you multiple chances and reinstated your rights with a zero tolerance warning which was accepted.
 

The grip rule has been around forever.  The amount of previous warnings were excessive and even if there was confusion you had to know you weren’t going to get any benefit of a doubt and you should have been ultra cautious.  The rules are very clear on grips and for someone to post so often, should have known better. Way past warnings and forgiveness. The mods have decided your fate. 
 

• Members are allowed ONE open listing with a maximum of 10 items.  All individual items count as one “item” – selling in lots is not permitted.  The only recognized exceptions are:
  a.     Matched iron sets up to 10 irons – wedges, even when sold as a set, count as individual items;
  b.     Matched grip sets up to 13 grips – only ONE GRIP SET allowed PER LISTING;
  c.     Matched sets of iron shaft pulls up to 10 shafts;
  d.     Golf balls in original packaging (Dozen or 15-pack = one item per pack) – balls sold as individual sleeves count as one item per sleeve. Loose lots of golf balls (used or new) are not allowed.

Matched grip sets up to 13 grips - only ONE GRIP SET PER LISTING;

 

Your ad had 18 grips listed which is a clear violation of the forum rules. In my opinion, that reads very clear, not ambiguous and no gray area.

I just went thru the 14 pages of all your posts.  You joined in 2015, you've 228 posts and exactly 3 of them were in a forum other than the Classifieds and 1 was you posting your WITB.

 

So for someone who has lived in the Classifeds you should have known the rules and been able to follow them to the letter of the law!

I know when I started I wasn't away when I deleted a post it wasn't immediately deleted they make it seem like everything is a blatant when was a honest mistake and the headcover post like I'm trying to scam.i had to get the person that bought the first set message a admin to prove he bought those.and now the grips the rule was not that clear or how I interpret it I guess that's on me too.most of my post have been in the last couple years and the last 2 I don't think we're warranted.

 

And I buy alot more then I sale,I'm a tinkerer and sale to buy not to profit
