New Diamana WB v BB

Has anyone tested both and felt a difference? Much difference in performance?

 

I have the WB in driver and love it, thinking of the BB in 3 wood / mini when it launches

I think he meant the new fleet of mini drivers (Titleist 280 given his Titleist heavy bag) not Diamana.

Yep that's the 1. Seen a good deal on a BB 3 wood shaft and curious to pull the trigger, given what I have seen on Youtube.

Have them both and they're very, very, very similar.  Obviously!  Same materials, only a slightly different build.  They work exactly as advertised, the Blue launching only slightly higher than the White.  Depending on how much you want to boost your launch in a fw, you might even consider the Red.  I found a bigger gap in "up" between the Blue to Red than I did the White to Blue if that makes sense.  They're all really good shafts!

 

 

Edit - I can't really tell any feel difference between the White or Blue.  I did however feel the lower kick point in the Red - relative to the other two.  IMO the Red felt best to me, smooth but a tiny bit more pop to it.

Have the WB 53X and the BB 53TX and the BB is softer middle and higher flight.j

I was just fit into the wb in GT3 driver. I have a buddy with the bb in GT2. It had the same thought, but it felt much too active to me. I am putting a WB in my 3w as well.

I've tested both and BB spun 300-500 rpm more.  BB was def more draw biased.

I've got the new BB in a Srixon Ls head and it just feels fantastic.  Smoother than GD-VF, slightly higher launch and ball speeds.  Feels like the shaft kicks through the ball just a bit without ever feeling loose.  Nice upgrade for the Diamana line.

Have you tried the GT and what flex are you playing them at?

Yeah I tried the GT.  It has a similar feel to VF imo...not quite as smooth as BB, but also it's a little more stout than BB

haven't tried BB but had extensive testing with WB. WB is described as it is with a mid handle firm midsection and a mid stiff tip section. the ball launches low without an overly boardy feel at impact bc of the tip section not being super stiff. You can really feel the stability of the midsection with a slight kick under the handle.. great shaft if you don't mind the softish tip (not soft by any means but soft compared to other low launch shafts).
