Srixon and Taylormade have both noticeably improved feel this year. I’ve never hit Ping blueprint but by all accounts they have as well. Callaway delivered their tech forged iron with soft feel as well. Even vokey felt the urge to soften the SM10 due to competition.
 

There’s no doubt Titleist will comply with the market wanting better feel as they move their price even higher. 
 

I fully expect something special this time around and a $300/club price point to match it. 
 

Give me Srixon feel, Titleist spin/launch profile, and keep the size similar to existing t100 and I’ll have the credit card ready. 

No where near that price

Confirming the t150 were the worst feeling irons i ever hit. Absoultley had to center nut them to get any kind of good feeling. Outside of that felt soo harsh. Soo off puting to me. On the upflip... the t200 i have now feel great on center and good off center. Low on the face is where it firms up but i dont mind that because that makes sense to be firmish there. Sweetspot is bigger without being a huge iron. The 150 is very confusing to me.

Not for the satin or chrome irons at release.  220-230 usd with stock shafts and grips

Hahah.  Could you imagine if they read this?  They create such a niche product that virtually nobody could play or afford.  Sell dozens of sets!

Or maybe switch whoever forges their irons for them in China for another option. Other companies can forge player's CB's and player's distance irons with better sound and feel. Titleist should give it a try.

Their cbs and MBs feel fine.

 

its the t series and how the remove and add weight to places.

There really isn’t much they can do as far as tech goes so maybe they will actually focus more on feel this cycle. Seems to be the trend even though I’m not sure I agree that other brands got better in that department.

You are comparing a limited run iron to normal retail. $300 per club would put them in the territory of the brand we can’t mention in this thread.

This - although I don't think the T-series feel "awful" according to others.

What premium are you referring to? $200 per club is pretty standard for irons now. If you are referencing the additional $70 for the black irons this also mostly aligns with other limited iron runs.

Eh most are 10-20 per iron for black.  70 is pretty spendy.  

The voldermort of irons is the only other oem I think might charge 70 for black…..

They upcharge more than any other OEM does for shafts. Most OEMs don't even upcharge for many of the shafts that Titleist does.

 

For example:

 

$-Taper 130X

Srixon: Free

TM: +$15 per club

Titleist: +$39 per club

 

DG X100

Srixon: +$15

TM: +$30

Titleist: +$35

 

TM recently increased their shaft upcharges to offset tariffs, but Titleist has been charging for shafts that  most OEMs offer as stock for as long as I can remember. So I ask, what is it about Titleist that people are willing to pay more for their products than their competitors?
