Wow, really interested in that T250*. I think some of the game improvement/whatever you want to call them lofts have gotten a little out of control from a playability standpoint, considering most of the players fitting into them aren't swinging 7i 90mph. So having a 24* 5 iron becomes really hard to play for folks with a ~80mph 7i swing. I know you can bend irons weak, but going ~3 degrees weak to get those lofts messes pretty significantly with the bounce and the loft spacing from taking the mid irons down usually lends itself to longer gapping at the short irons/PW part of the bag. Pandering to myself a bit here, but as a low ball low spin player, I love the idea of a forgiving head with higher lofts, and the fact that the T-250s look as good as they do is just the icing on the cake.

I know I will be hitting them all during my fittig, then ultimately we settle on the one best and dial it in.  I expect it to be the 250* but who knows, I may have lost enough speed over the last year so that I need the 350.   Definitely will report back on the performance of he 250* either way.

How was the blade length on the T250?  Is there any sole relief? They looked a bit wide and flat in the original pictures.

I noticed same in the initial pictures, but on some subsequent photos seemed like there was some relief when viewed at a different angle.   As usual, it's best to see them in person before making a final judgement.    In extreme cases, might even need to hit them.

Ok like I promised my experience at the new T series irons fitting. The location : Hamilton Farm Golf Club in Gladstone/Peapack NJ.  No pictures needed because they were already been posted.

350   The heads were big as aspected.  Off set was very prominent as it was easy for getting ball airborne.  Very forgiving.  The feel was nice. Had a clicky sound to them.  Overall very easy to hit.

250.   The head was slight smaller than the 350s in all features  The feel was better easy to hit. The sound was little clicky also.   Overall great club if you have trouble with the longer irons.  Great for a combo set.

150.   Players profile with stronger lofts.  Very clean look. Feel is very nice. Muted forged sound at impact.  Turf action is smooth.  Love them.  It is 1 millimeter bigger than 100s.  Overall great for feel and confidence.

100.  Pure. Feel and look is optimal for better ball strikers.  Sound was a typical forge acoustic.  I did not see or feel that much from my current set but it did look cleaner and who doesn’t want a new set in there bag.   Overall I would bag them again.

What was my fitting.  And getting in two weeks they say.  By July 4 !!!!!!!

Appreciate you taking the time to post the review. Did they have the 250* with the weaker lofts available that have been referenced in the last page or so of this thread? Really hoping they are real.

With the new fitting shafts all clubs can be weaked to 1 degrees.  I made my 2 because 1 was not enough.

I will definitely be holding off on the early jump here.

I did the 150 last version, wasn’t thrilled with turf interaction, hope it has improved, but not seeing anything that makes me want out of the T100S right now, plus I have a new backup set with black LZ, going to hold off for now.

I'm a digger so with traditional lofting and bigger bouce will help with turf interaction. Big plus is NO OFFSET.

Did you see any noticeable forgiveness improvements with the T150 or the T100 over the previous generation? Any scoop on new graphite options?

To be honest not so much.  it was more of a confidence thing  because the 150 is 1 millimeter bigger.

I may go 150’s next go around. I naturally hit it high with slightly lower spin. I have been messing with balls to try to get things dialed in with the 100. I would love to get the flight down and add some spin. Love an X ball for the spin but hate how high the trajectory is. If there’s wind, I’m done.

I think the 150 and the addition of a spiny mid launch ball would be ideal. Z Star Diamonds may be the ball.

I still have plenty of life left in my 100s so I’ll wait for the reviews to start pouring in.

If you want something low flying with low spin you should try the C-Tapers.  I hit bullets myself and i mentioned the Steel fibers  He told me with my numbers i should stay away is the C-Taper and Steelfiber 110 or 125.

1mm seems like too little of a difference between the two.  I haven't measured, but the difference in the 2023 t110 to t150 was apparent at a glance, so I would think more than 1mm.  If this is the case, did the t100 get bigger or the t150 smaller?

Also, curious if the 250 is bigger than the previous 200 - based on the naming convention I assume so.

Thanks for all the early feedback!

Will have to wait for the embargo to end, but the T250* appears to be the replacement for the T200 utility build (possibly extended to a full set).

Can anyone who has hit the T250 compare it to the latest version of the P790? I replaced my T200 for the P790.  I really like the sound/feel/performance of the P790 4 iron so I'm curious if the T250 would be a competitor for the 4 iron spot.  The 790 is 20* where the T250 may be 21*.

You and me both brother. Will be anxious to see what the soles of these look like in hand and how they move through the turf. On the plus side, they look like they’ve moved weight upwards in the head so maybe they won’t launch sky high or feel so poorly a little higher in the head from the rough.

1 Millimeter was what they said and the grooves was changed also to prevent flyers.

The off set on the 250 are very noticeable to me.  Size wise they were similar to the 200.

Do they appear to be a larger profile overall compared to the T200? Thicker top line and longer blade length? It’s sounding like the T250 is going to be more of a GI/players performance iron.

That's interesting - I have a hard time with flyers with my T100S.  Sometimes I'll catch a hot one and it will go like 20 yards past a normal yardage.  I figured it was more a spin thing and potentially needing to get re-fitted for iron shafts potentially if I was on the lower end of spin then a shot out of rough could reduce spin that much more and produce the massive distance gain.

Looking forward to the new line, I absolutely love my 2021 T100s so I'm excited to try both the new T100 & T150.
