I can't decide whether or not to get a T150 or T250 in my 4iron or just go full T100 like I currently have in my 2023 T100s. I would like a little extra forgiveness in my long irons and maybe a couple of extra yards.

The new t100 has polymer in the long iron similar to the t150 so it should play pretty close to that.

if you want a meaningful difference, I would go with the t250.

. I previously had t150 in both 4 and 5 for forgiveness. I still had some trouble with 4 iron. I went 250 in 4 iron and 150 in 5 iron. The peak height and consistent spin rate on mishits is what sold me. When it got to 6 iron it was 6 of one half dozen of another so I just went 100.

@cutley2618 @Pnwpingi210 and @STROM320 all touch on the same thing that happened to me.

I went T250 4i, T100 5i-PW.

I could hit the T100 4i, but it felt intimidating lol. When I told the fitter it was hard for me to hit the T100 4i, I don't think he even handed me a T150, just went straight to the T250--which speaks to what @Pnwpingi210 said about the new T100 long irons and the T150 being pretty similar in forgiveness.

Also, I asked fitter about trying a T250 5i, but he said I didn't need it. And he thought it was better to blend with just one long iron from a different set. I tend to agree with him because I could hit my old 6i very easily, which is the same loft as my new T100 5i will be (27°).

Yes! I think with the change in the head profile(they do look slimmer/better in every model) it’s not that bulky and not a big deal and I’ll air on the side of forgiveness. Also another thing to note is the 1 degree stronger in the standard lofts for t100. I asked my fitter why that was and he said “LPGA Tour feedback” because a lot of the women were still playing t100s. When you weaken them a degree it takes away some offset.

Yeah I think I have decided that's exactly what I am going to do. P-5 T100s and then the 4iron in the T250 all with X100s. Will probably weaken the T100s at least 1 degree because I like my distances with my current ones, but may leave the 4 Iron where it is at and see if it is not too big of a gap between 4 and 5 iron.

I appreciate you providing that info from your fitting!

Got fit on monday for a 3 iron. Had my mine set on the T250 but the U505 looked really nice. Especially in the 3 it looks a lot slimmer than the previous model. Was told by the fitter that the U505 was only helpful on strikes high in the face

Ha, my fitter said the same thing about the 1* stronger in the standard lofts for t100 "LPGA tour feedback". I wanted a 46* PW so we kind of worked our way back with 4* gaps in the shorter irons and 3* in the longer irons.

According some on this forum….the one degree stronger is only about “blending”

2 things - when will the specs show up on titleist web site and what is the stock shaft on the new T150s?

I’m curious about the stock shafts too! TT DG Mid 115 S300 seems to be a super common stock shaft these days and happens to be what I play, but those are an upcharge on the outgoing T150. Project X LZ 6.0 was stock and are also intended to fit that mid-launch and mid-spin profile, but I don’t have enough experience to know if those would work for me. I know the LZs really move that kick point to the middle of the shaft rather than towards the tip like the DG Mid series, so they should feel a little different. Anyone done a direct comparison between those two shafts?

Site says 2 week lead time that means they will possibly be in hand a month sooner than normal.

These should be firmly in the bag.  I know Famous Last Words!

Would you mind sharing how the T250 profile compares to the ZXi4? Blade length, sole width, top line? Thanks in advance!

Looks like they are maintaining the stock/no upcharge options. DG Mid are still $15/ea upgrade and the Project X LZ are a stock option. Iron pricing also confirmed at $215/ea so we got a little bump there.

Has anyone else noticed they seem to have significantly reduced the radius around the face of these? The top line is the most noticeable where it looks much more squared off than before. The back edge still looks pretty rounded, but the front edge is much sharper. That's a little disappointing for me. I loved the rounded top line that made it seem much thinner. That's one of my biggest hang ups with the Srixon ZXi5 and 7 is how flat that top line is.

The biggest shock to me is seeing the lofts of the T250*. "Launch spec" is no joke. A 35 deg 7i hasn't been seen in a club like this in about 20 years. I kind of want to hit them just for fun to see it gets sent into orbit.

i'm excited! have my fitting monday. Balking at the 215$/club but it seems that this was truly a generational leap. They look beautiful. Have some Rogue St Pro's with project x ls 6.0s currently; so by matching specs it looks like 350 would be similar, but ever since I saw the pictures I though of a combo set to really dial in distance and control from long to short irons. like 3, 5,6 I need them getting max distance even on off center hits, but then 7 & 8 I hope to be more precise and then 9 & P, W I expect that dispersion to be even tighter and more predictable off the club face. So we shall see, but I'm excited to try them out.

Looks like any graphite offered are an upcharge of some amount. Disappointed Titleist not offering any stiff UST Dart shafts.  Also not too happy that Canada is paying 46% premium considering exchange is 37% today.  Titleist banking on extra 9% revenue if dollar stays flat.  Will have to look for some new heads on BST in the new year.

Yeah, dollar is 10% down on euro this year but there is a massive euro premium currently on these. 4-PW is 1505$ which is currently 1282€ but price here is €1649 almost a 400€

upcharge!

utilities are $279 which is €237 but they are listed at €309!

of course who knows what the various tariffs and customs charges are.

another test video, true spec golf. Not major extra info wise, but confirms what has been said. T100 and T150 not worth changing from current model. T250 upward worth changing.  good comparison that t100 change is really the extra loft, which looks like is bad for anyone happy with current model, will need to weaken the loft to what you already have, or more easily, just keep current ones

Maybe I'm in in the minority or it's been talked about but super disappointed with Titleist.  I'm a self-avowed Titleist fanboy and want to pull the trigger on the new 250's to replace my TM 790's.  Something doesn't sit right about paying 40 bucks a club to upgrade to KBS $-tapers.  They're already more expensive per iron without the uncharge.  I'm an active buyer, but not at 2K for a new set.
