Thanks for the pics. The T250 looks more like the P770 when compared next to the P790. It feels like a good way to describe the T250 to a Taylormade guy would be P790 lofts in the P770 heads.

After seeing and hitting them in person yesterday, I’d say the T250 sits between the two TM models leaning a bit more towards the P790.

Has anyone hit both the T250 and the 3DP Tour? Really curious how these compare.

I’ve hit both.

250 spins more and doesn’t fly as far for me also peak height was about 125 - 130 ft max

3dp spins about 750 rpm’s less and fly about 10-15 yards farther.  Apex’s about 140ft +

partially due to lofts.

t250 is more p790

Great stuff. Much appreciated. Would you say the T250 is more forgiving with a larger footprint? I mean, I know the 3DP is insanely forgiving for what it is, but which would you think is more playable for a an average ball striker?

The T250 is stronger by .5 a degree, isn’t it?

It’s a good question, depends on the player.

i would play both or either in a 4 iron.

in a 7 iron I would only play the t250 bent weak.  The 3dp, even weak has too much ball speed, not enough spin, and a really high apex.

i think the 3dp is more likely to give you the same outcome regardless of the swing you put on the ball.  It’s probably a little smaller to an t he t250

Anyone know why titleist is sticking / even expanding on the use of AMT as stock shaft for this year? Compared to other brands, they seem to be the only one who swear to these as stock.

After seeing both the Ai 150 and T 150 by looks alone the T150 is more appealing to me. May have to actually try to demo both and see how they compare.

Idea behind this makes a lot of sense, and I really wanna try the silvers as I find whites too heavy and blacks too light, but third party fitters don’t seem to fit into it that often, (if they have these in the matrix at all?) very little tour use. So not sure if the performance isn’t there (which I don’t believe is the case), but just not enough voices pushing this idea.
We do this in driver and fairways so why not in irons?
Also as someone else mentioned Titleist probably believes in this and have really good pricing on them from true temper.

minimal changes in 100/150 and the price gouging has made it crazy to change over here really. I have quote in for 5-GW at 1649€ which is 1930$ and 484€ for u505 4 iron with vf shaft which is 566 dollars.

total $2500 for the set!!

makes the decision easier at least. At most will go 250 std build 4 iron with steel shaft. U505 wasn’t massively different. Certainly not more than double the cost.

Went back to look at other options today in view of the pricing and probably not getting clubs until end of August here, have decided to pass on this release altogether. Can pick up Srixon 4 utility or p-udi here now for well below the u505/250u price now that they’ve been priced so high. In fact can pick either up for the price of the std steel 250 4 iron. So going to try one of them in place of the t200 to see out the season. Titleist have made a major mistake in the pricing imo, most Titleist buyers can well afford the cost, but are smart people and know when they are being taken for a ride.

Their pricing mostly aligns with other brands. Are you expecting $175 per club? Guys always complain about titleist pricing forgetting they run on 2 year cycles and basically price everything in the range of where other companies will price on their next cycle.

Yeah. Ping BP is $212 per. 925 F is $200, Cally Ai 200 is $200. Current T100 is $215… Essentially all in the same neighborhood.
