I’m curious on the sole width of the 250

Is there any data about the new gen AMT shafts?

I was fit into AMT Tour White not long ago, is the AMT White G2 essentially the same?   And what about the AMT Silver G2?  

 

I'm really finding no info on these, even from the TT website.  Maybe a made for Titleist exclusive?

Local shop is having a T-Series event today. Excited to try a few heads and a couple shafts. Have been playing MMT and L series graphite past few years. Definitely going to give some other options a try, Project X red is actually intriguing to me as well.

After the silliness of confusing a shipping notification for some ProV1s for my irons, I decided to call out to Titleist this morning and also as a double check they were direct shipping and to make sure I got a tracking no. since they are signature required.

 

Gave the person my order number and, "They're all boxed up."  Very pleasant surprise.

 

Unfortunately expedited shipping wasn't able to be arranged by the retailer where I got fit, but they are on a pretty fast track in terms of when they were ordered (last Thursday morning) and I'd expect UPS to have them at my house by Monday next week

Still nothing on my T250U 3i ordered on the 11th. I did have them change the VF 95X to a KBS Hybrid Proto 95S+, but wouldn't figure that would push it that far back. I'm like a kid on Christmas

Went with 250 in 5-9 standard loft and 150 in PW/GW bent 1 strong.  Currently gaming the 23' T200 and playing some of the best golf of my life with them. 

Really zero reason to jump on a new set, other than aesthetics. Anyone that did really well with 23' T200 make the move to 250?  I'm praying in the same exact build (shaft, grip, length, lie) im  not going to sacrifice any launch or spin coming from the 200's.

Still waiting on my T irons as well and a T250U was part of the order. I ordered on 7/11 as well and am trying to be patient since Titleist was quoting 2 weeks for delivery and we still aren't there yet. It just makes me even more impatient seeing everyone getting theirs shipped a couple of days after they order.

I had a buddy order a T250 4,5 T150 6-P combo set on the 11th as well some GT fairway woods and he got everything in last Friday the 18th from CA->TN. Shipped on the 14th.

 

Pretty standard specs, and he went with the AMT Tour Silver S300's, so maybe that's why it was quick, but still. Guess you never know.

Just got my T250's out on the course and am seeing alot of what the fitting showed which is always a good thing.  I am seeing more height and more carry from the upgrade over the previous gen T200.  The feel is way more clickier, think P790 almost, but the performance and looks are still what I expect out of a T200 iron.  I get reasonable spin compared to P790 and the looks blow them out of the water as well.  Overall, the sound and feel is only part that kinda turns me off, but its minimal and outweighed by performance, as these are so much straighter for me than the last gen as well on slight mishits.

Is this a hard pass on the entire set just because of the toe stamping on the PW? I mean, you could go up to the 9 and get a Vokey....

Sole gets through the turf quicker and easier with the number stamped. Less restriction through the turf 🫡

Yes the MOI is now on the heel side because they had to carve out the 45 on the toe side 🙂.

Was fit for T250* Launch Spec irons at my local store on Monday. Gained a solid 5-10 feet peak height and 1,000 rpm spin over my current Wilson Dynapwr Forged irons. I wouldn't say the T250 is a particularly good looking, sounding or feeling iron, but hard to argue with the performance. Ordered T250* Launch Spec 5-GW with C-Taper Lite X-Stiff. Can't wait to get them.

Wilson Dynapwr Forged which has a 30.5* 7 iron vs the 35* in the T250* launch spec. To me the Wilson has the T250 beat on looks sound and feel but I really struggle to get 7iron-4iron to launch high enough because I have a very negative AoA(-6*). I’m in the same boat. I play 1” long and 3.5 up. I haven’t had an opportunity to go see these in store yet, but curious how thick the sole was on the t250’s?

I would say it's no different than anything else in the "Players Distance" category. Similar size and shape to P790, Dynapwr Forged, name your favorite players distance iron, etc. Not a compact package like a blade by any means but certainly not a shovel either.

During my fitting the 250 and 350 sounded the same.  Rhey are the exact same head/construction.

I got fit for the T250 Launch Spec. I was between the AMT Black and Silver. Ultimately ordered with Modus 105 due to my familiarity with the shaft. My fitter only let me hit a few with the Modus which were all mostly bottom groove. I didn’t have my best day in the fitting bay, and wanted to stick with what I’m comfortable with. 
 

The 250* were fantastic. Land angles north of 47° which isn’t something I’m used to seeing. After wrist and back injuries, my speed is down and my AoA is slightly positive, so these should get my by as I work on getting back down and through the golf ball more efficiently.
