Did they say anything about why they went T100 one weak in 7-9 rather than continuing with T150 two weak?

My distance and ball speeds happened to be more consistent in the shorter irons of the 100’s. We looked to changed models once the ball speed gaps and launch numbers were not as needed.

If my misses are generally thin shots and I tend to be on the lower spin side t100 generally would be best for me, would this be correct?

Also consider the T250* Spec Launch the weaker lofts will help spin and the max impact will help those thin hits

Ordered T250’s with KBS Tour (PW/GW 150) on 7/11.

The very second I paid for overnight shipping it was a stone cold lock they’d ship on a Friday at sit at a FedEx hub over the weekend, alas here we are lol

Will have them in hand Monday. Playing really good golf right now with my current 2023 T200’s and fingers crossed the 250’s are as good or a tick better.

Ordered mine through a fitting hosted at my club on 7/11. Still waiting on notification of shipment.

I am a senior player; for me, the T 250s were hands down better than my T 200s. Picked up 5 yards with better launch and an ideal descent angle. Feel is better.

Had a Titleist fitting on Friday for the new irons. Currently gaming 712 AP2’s with DG s400’s. Hit the t100,t150 and t250 7 irons with a variety of shafts

The t100’s and t150’s felt the same to me. The modus 105 stiff was the best fit. The t150 had about 6-7 yards more carry and the height was better. I hit the 250 in a 5 iron and I was extremely impressed with the look at address, the feel and the overall height and carry with it. The best club I hit was the U505 4 iron. Carry was 210 yards ( for a 60 year young golfer very pleased). Off the ground or teed up just aim and fire. Ordering the following
U 505 4 iron Denali Red 70 g stiff @ 21*

T250. 5, 6 irons Modus 105 S @ 25,28*

T150 7-W Modus 105 S standard lofts. Rep says I would have them in a week

Looking at the lofts, it would be fun to go 4-6 in the T250* and 7-PW in the CB or MB.

DR: Callaway Elyte TD Max 10.5˚

3W: Cobra DS Adapt Max 15.5˚

7W: Cobra DS Adapt X 21˚ at 19.6˚

HY:  Cobra DS Adapt 4H at 22.4˚

UT:  2025 Titleist U505 at 24˚

IRONS: Ping i230 5-UW or Titleist T250* 5i-52˚

WEDGES: Titleist Vokey SM10 54S at 55, 60D

PUTTER: Dan Carraher ZT Proto

BALL: Srixon Z-Star Diamond

Anyone that was fit into amt silvers and not liking the feel in any other club than a 7i?

I keep trying the 7i and the more I hit the more I like the shaft.

Modus 115 is a better feeling similar shaft. It weighs 118g in stiff, has much better feel. Same characteristics/flight

Cant understand why Titleist does not offer it, even as an upcharge.

They offer the entire modus line except 115 for some reason, shaft has been out for at least 3 years

They probably think it plays too similar to the DG 120s to offer it as a separate option.

Modus 125 plays almost the same as standard DG, so I don't think that could be the reason.

I have a feeling it may be wholesale cost or something, as just looking online Modus 115 seems to demand a premium price tag compared to other modus models. Maybe its made in smaller quantities and the manufacture price is higher? Dunno

I don’t think anyone can predict that or evaluate that versus your calculations.  You need to hit them to find out

I agree with you, but my issue is most fitting centers (every one that I have called: Club Champion, Golf MD, Golf Galaxy, PGA Superstore) only have a 6i or 7i for fitting. They do not have a full set of irons for fitting. I called Titleist and their suggestion was to find a Titleist fitting center, but there are none close to me for three months. Just seems a bit backwards if Titleist is going to push the blended sets so much that I can't hit anything other than one club/loft from each model. 🤷‍♂️

Doesn't sound different than normal for most OEMs - having said that, the place I went had a 5i head to try as well.

I’d say you can always have them bent a degree or two weak/strong to hit you numbers.

You’re looking for way beyond the standard of fitting that exists today.  That service is available if you are willing to pay for it.  For most golfers, they don’t posses the consistency in strike to make the level of detail your requiring as a starting point for you set.  Most can estimate based on a fitting for 7 iron and adjust once they get the set

back to the original point, nobody can predict it for you.  You have to hit them and then have them adjusted.

I have a blended set of T250 (4-6) and T150 (7-P). I kept the stock lofts on all clubs, but thought about strengthening the loft 1 degree on the T150 to blend better on paper. However with the stock lofts, I'm carrying the 7-iron (T150) around 165-167 yards and the 6-iron (T250) around 178-180 yards so the gapping is spot on for me. The biggest focus during my fitting was getting peak height to ~100 ft for all my clubs, which is what determined where I combo split between models.

I don't see many people not getting the PW.  I have been playing a Artisan wedge set (46,50,54,58) and just wondering how hot the stock PW is.  Maybe a gapping issue is too hot.

I just ordered a Vokey 46 with the shaft I was fit for.  I want to compare it to my existing PW setup with my current shafts and then decide.

what’s your main reason for playing the vokey instead of the set PW?

I started doing this about 6 years ago. I tested the stock PW against the Vokey on monitors and on the course. I could hit 1/2 and 3/4 shots better with the Vokey and got better spin numbers on all shots. For me, I was also more accurate with the Vokey. Not sure why, but that is how it worked out.

I also imagine you might not be hitting your PW at 100% too often? I could see that being another reason to use a wedge.

Yup.  I no longer try to squeeze an extra 5 out of my pw.  It’s my stock 140 club and I won’t hit it for anything more than unless it’s wind and elevation aided.

Thank you for this information.  This is exactly what I was wondering about and puts my mind at ease about a blended set.
