About same SS… I went 250 for 4/5 and 150 6-PW all one degree weak. Gapping seems great and the 250’s are so easy to launch in those long irons. Weaking the 150 to the 100 specs gave me very similar results and a hint more height/control. We tossed around the idea of doing a triple blend and starting the 100 at 8 iron, but once you get there it’s not much difference other than a number on the badge anyway.

Thanks for the feedback!  I was speaking with a friend, who is a VERY good player, about this yesterday and he did something similar.  He weakened the T250 5 iron a degree and kept the T150 6-PW standard loft.  I'm thinking one of these two options is where I would like to be.  I'm having trouble finding a fitting near me with left-handed components.  If you don't mind me asking, what shafts did you try and what did you end up with?

I went to a Titleist fitting yesterday and was fit into the T250's 5-P with the AMT White S300. I hit the T150 very well also, and was hoping I could maybe jump into that category but the fitter recommended the T250 based on the distance I was gaining.

I gotta say, the two clubs look nearly identical at address as it was really hard to tell the difference. I have a 7 iron swing speed of 82 and was carrying the T250 about 8-9 yards further but with the loft difference of 1.5 that should generally be expected.

I also was disappointed they didn't have the AMT Silver as that is the "stock" iron on these 150's so I would have liked to see how that shaft compared between White and Black.

Here the question I ask.  If you hit the t100s do they fly far enough and through the right window?  If so get them.

The t150 is really for somebody that could play the t100 but wants a little more ball speed and launch.  They arent more “forgiving”.  They just go a little higher and farther.

t250 is where you have to go for some measurable forgiveness

150'S are more forgiving for sure than T100 if your miss is thin...

Hard to imagine how.  I don’t seem to lose anything with a thin miss with the t100.  The only spot they struggle is high on the face

i second that, my thin misses with the T100 have been SUPER forgiving so far

Nice clubs.  Went 5 250 bent 1 def strong.  6-pw t150.  Axium graphite shaft throughout.  Surprised how good the shaft was.   Wasn’t expecting that but all good.   Should have the new sticks soon.  My current t150s banged up.  👍🏻

I am surprised by the wear on my t150 faces after a couple seasons. I don't hit a ton of balls and don't play in sandy soil.

I tried the stock AMTs, DG X100 (shaft I’ve played the last 15 years), modus 130, PX, $ Taper and c-taper. Ended up liking the stronger trajectory of the C-Taper, but went a little softer flex with Stiff +. They still fly high but don’t balloon on me. So far it’s been a good choice!

Which iron shafts did you fit into? The best thing for me was that I knew I wanted 95g, but wasn't sure on flex. I recently started playing the $-Taper 120 (Stiff) in my irons, and wanted something that would feel pretty similar, but also transition well into my XStiff woods.

The Hybrid Proto is supposed to play the same as the Tour, which I know plays a little soft for me. I called the KBS Golf Experience and just asked to speak to a fitter and he was super helpful. S in the irons P-4i, 95g S+ in the 3i, and then my normal X flexes in the woods. Still gives it that similar feel coming from my 4i, but not too different from say a 3w. At least for me. This build came in right at D2 on my SW scale too. Feels great so far.

Pretty similar. I ended up with C-Taper 125 in stiff +. Kind of leaning toward staying same flex and also 95g since the X kn the irons felt a tad board. Also in X through woods. Thanks for the info.

My T150's showed up on Tuesday, I've only had 1 range session with them but impressed so far.  I'll play with them this weekend and work more on the range next week.  Definitely a higher launch than my previous irons (T100S), especially in the longer irons.  I went T250 in the 4 iron and that thing launches crazy high!

I want to get them on trackman as well to compare to my older irons, during my fitting the numbers were very similar other than a bit higher launch but that was mostly with the fitting 7 iron.

Received my T250/T150 combo set yesterday.  I cannot get over how good these look at address and even more so in the bag.  Chipping around in the basement with them the 250's feel slightly softer and less clicky than my 200's, leading edge and grooves also appear to be a little flatter and straighter (think Ping) than I recall a Titleist iron being which I am big fan of.

A lot of trailing edge relief on the T250's for a club that's the size it is.  Titleist continues to have the best sole configurations on the market for those who prefer less bounce and want to get through the ground quicker.  The bottom of the 250's effective bounce area resembles the width of a T100 especially in the shorter irons.

Getting them out this afternoon for league, excited to say the least.

Was able to get 9 in with the 250's on Tuesday.  Hard to give much feedback because I hit it so poorly after having a desk chair swing coming from straight from work.

Initial impression is that the new groove design on the 250 gives them a ton of spin retention out of the rough.  To the point that I can almost play the same number from the rough that I would in the fairway which was not the case with 200.

Ball definitely wanted to curve a little more that I was accustomed to seeing, reminded me of the ball flight I was used to seeing when I played T100's. Playing again Friday morning, may make the move back to Left Dash after playing ProV1X all summer to see if I can take some shape off the irons, it's always been a better ball for me off the tee, could be a win/win.

I know this isn't a shaft thread, but honestly i'd call KBS like I did. You probably know, but in terms of "stiffness" for the main 3 shafts, it goes KBS Tour -> $-Taper -> C-Taper. The Tour HB is based off of the Tour, so it will play marginally different than the C-Taper with more kick in the low-mid section, rather than being pretty linear. It may make sense to go to the 95X based on how the C-taper plays, but that's just my first thought. The fitters should be able to help you out!

Wondering if anyone at  senior swing speed has upgraded form last years t350 to the newer t250 or T350 and what they noticed in performance .

I was fitted for my set with the zelos 7  reg shaft  which I DO LIKE .

Any comments appreciated  thanks

I went from prior T350 to T250 this time.  Biggest performance improvement to me was in dispersion and ball flight.  The 250 just went to much straighter.   Could be the shaft as well MMT 85g vs SF80g.   Distance is maybe a tick longer.  Bag appeal is out of this world better.

What’s your comparison between the two? 2025 T series or JPX925 Forged

Quick comparison between the T250/T150 combo vs JPX925 Forged

- JPX925 forged is a combo set in itself (4-7 use chromoly steel, 8-P use single pieced forged 1025 mild steel), so similar in a sense to the T250/T150 combo set

- Mizunos definitely feel softer. Marketing aside, there is something about Mizuno forgings that give it that classic soft feeling

- T combo set is slightly higher launching and spin, but not by much

- I really like the turf interaction on both the Titleist and Mizuno irons, but slightly prefer the tri-sole design on the Mizunos as it feels a hair cleaner through the turf (especially vs the T250's)

- Prefer the less aggressive offset of the T series

- Both sets looks sexy! Satin finish of the T-series (huge upgrade vs T200) and the Black finish on the Mizunos 🙂

Thank you for the write up!! I played last version of the T150. They were great too. But, I can really see myself getting back to Mizuno with the 925forged. I think I would go plain chrome with them. I don’t think the black would hold up great.

I currently have Black Cobra King CB and I don’t think anyone does black better than cobra. They show zero wear with this season of golf so far. Also zero reason to change irons either.

Finally went for my fitting for the 150s, and the data confirmed what I thought was happening. At 57 my speed has started to drop and my long irons are bunching up yardage wise. On track man found my 5 iron carried about 4 yards more than my 6. Already dropped the 4 iron for a hybrid and was thinking the same for 5 iron. Fitter handed me the 250 5 iron and the gapping went back to perfect! Order in - 250 5iron 150 6-pw standard loft all (1degree stronger 5 iron really helped with the gapping) loved the amt silver, was exactly what I wanted. more control and trajectory on the short irons, higher ball flight long irons. Now gotta wait for them to show up, not sure I can look at my current clubs the same!

PS: 2.6 index 105 driver swing speed 86 7 iron for anyone wanting to know

Today was a full playing test with the new T350s - 27 holes.  These irons will stay in the bag!

It's taken a couple of evenings, brief range session before playing and a good afternoon of play to feel reasonably comfortable with the new shafts.  Rather than hit the iron I would normally hit on approach shots I mixed it up a bit on a few holes and hit partial shots as well and with maybe one club more on a hole, two clubs more on another, etc. - also hit some running chip shots with the 48 degree and the 43 degree and the 9 iron.  I hit two 6 irons that were, for me, towering and one the best shot I've hit in quite awhile - adjacent fairway, needed to get back over tall trees with a big fade to a green I couldn't reach but ended up just short and in great shape. That's a shot I haven't had for awhile and that I cannot hit with my Mizuno 6 iron.  An exaggerated setup for sure on that was needed, but  in general, I can't work the ball with these, i.e., can't get a little draw with the 48 into a green, or an 8i, whatever - just lasers on well hit shots high or low (not a bad thing) but that is so far my only nitpick. Stopping power is great.

Height and spin and stop is what I bought these for and I'm pretty much adjusted to the soles.  They do not feel/sound soft like the Mizunos, but the feel and sound from solid shots in the fairway is . . . solid and I like it.

So, nothing in the description for my irons includes the word "player" for the first time since my Ping Eye 2+ - now "just" a GI guy (for now).
