Yes in addition to 250 and 350. Not sure where it sits relative to them. It was mentioned in the Precision Golf YouTube Monday live this week. Being released later this year. Sounded like it might be a Titleist equivalent to Hot Metal HL - that kind of thing

You didn’t notice the * in my post.  There is a 250 and 250*.  The * has been talked about a lot here. It is in fact a higher launching 250.   Also lighter head.   It will follow about a month to 2 months from the release of the others.

Help me with this sentence.

when you strengthen lofts you increase ___________.

if the t100 didn’t fly farther enough to gap well with t150 and 200 you need to strengthen lofts.

if it wasn’t about distance, why didn’t they weaken the t150 for gapping purposes?

That's why I went T150 but 1° weak...a tiny bit of added forgiveness from T100 (my last set) but blends well and still is somewhat close to my previous gapping. I ain't getting any younger so if that 1° gets me an additional yard or two I don't have to rethink my wedge setup, haha.

I wonder if the t250* is catering towards lower swing speed players?

swing my 7 iron around 80 club head speed driver 96 but always been lower launch low spin. Fitter said to stay away from the player distance category and put me in i230s. Hoping these 250* might be an option!

thanks for all the deets!

Really hope the reviews on the 250 show an improvement in feel and perhaps a bit more forgiveness over the T200. Had a 200/150 combo set previously and loved the great shots with the 200 but was not in love with how they felt when struck less than perfect. They look amazing and I’d bag a full set if they seem like a big improvement!

My brother has a t200 utility I hit a couple of times.  The good shots are rockets, but I did not enjoy hitting it very much.

Thats exactly what the 250* is for.  Players that need help with launch and spin.

I wouldn’t call your 80 mph 7 iron slow by any means. It is average tp slightly above average.

but yes if you don’t generate much spin with your 7 —-say less than 5,000 —then these could be the ticket for you

The 250* in the 4 iron will be a great blend to the T150.

I thought that too, but from the spec posting earlier it looks they won’t be a 250* 4 iron?

Yes, I thought they were for blending and possible tour aimed but it appears it’s the opposite.

Nope.  Generally the larger hollow irons with weak lofts are meant for the mid to slow swing speed player that is low dynamic loft.  Probably plays a draw does a good job of delofting the club.  Gives them the increased ball speed of the hollow head and still launches with some spin.  Tour folks don’t need rhat

I was told by someone who has been fitted that it's a frame that supports the face with a circular elastomer disk like other T200/300 series going way back. Feel is better but not way different. I've heard the forgiveness is not much more than T150 so that would be a sweet combo set.

I was able to see the T100 and 150 in person today. Pretty meh to me and nothing to get excited about. There is a bit of leading edge relief to my eye but other than that not much to be excited about.

🙄

Haha that they do, which is another reason why they are charging 500 per club engineering at its finest.  Ohh don’t forget the new beautiful font.
I know some will probably take this literal, they aren’t charging 500 per club but won’t be cheap whatever it is.

Getting back into golf after a few years of limited time. I still play my 718 AP2 irons. Does anyone remember back in time far enough to compare the feel of either T100/T150 to those AP2?

AP2 FEEL WAY BETTER THAN THE T100.150...

I had a chance to hit the T250 and T150 today as a local retailer has the demo heads. I currently have JPX923 HMP that are bent 2-3 degrees weak. My thoughts are the new T series irons don’t feel as good as my Mizuno irons and they spun around 1000 RPM’s less from what my previous indoor experience is with my irons. I’ll probably bring mine in for comparison next time and do a side by side. As for now I’ll stick with what I have. The T250’s felt hollow to me. I did like the T150 better.

You sound exactly like me! I have 925s. I tried the 250s on Friday. The Mizuno has such a soft crisp feel. The 250s felt clicky and not as pure. Per usual, it’s almost impossible to be Japanese steel. I will say that the 250 is a much sexier looking club, but looks don’t translate to a better scorecard.
