Previously had the LTDx irons too and they were by far my favourite of the GI irons.

 

I find Cobra get their flowers for woods, but their wedges, irons and putters are slept on.

How did you find the jump from the max to the LS? Max is draw bias and LS is fade bias so I am hesitant to jump to the LS since my worst misses are slices.

I just put my King Cobra Baffler DWS 4-hybrid and 5-hybrid back in my bag.

 

I spent $900 last September on 3 brand new Taylormade Qi10 hybrids.   I thought there would be a significant tech upgrade after nearly 20 years.  But, NO!   The TM Qi10 hybrids didn’t perform as well as my very old Cobra hybrids!  The heads on the TM hybrids felt so light that they just did not deliver any mass to the ball.

 

Does anyone know of a more modern Cobra hybrid that would outperform my Baffler DWS hybrids?   Or, should I just save my money?

Still playing MIM wedges, also have a f6 baffler and a f7 tour issue 4-5w. F6 baffler is still point and shoot, got the f7 ti to replace it, but haven't gotten comfortable with it yet.

I've had the F6 Baffler in the bag since the get-go. Don't think I can ever replace it. I've added the Darkspeed X 3HF and DS Adapt Max-K this year and couldn't be happier. Finally have confidence in a 3 wood again, allowing me to play the Baffler as a 5 wood. And I couldn't agree more with what others are saying about the forgiveness of the Max K - incredible. Coming from the F9 and Speedzone, the extra forgiveness is noticeable - especially distance-wise.

I’ve tried to find a replacement for my Amp Cells for years, but always come back to them. While I can play just fine with other clubs, the Cobras are like that old cotton t-shirt that is so comfortable. Granted, I’m a 12 HC, so not the skill level of most here. I finally replaced my S2 driver last year - with the Aerojet Max that I bought used for under $200. So yeah, especially from a value perspective, I’m a Cobra fan.

Back in cobra crew after moving on from black forged king tecs a couple of years ago.

Dark speed Adapt LS, 4 iron 3DP, black king tours 5-PW, KT CB GW and king wedges (54.10V & 60.04W) ordered a 2025 long tec 3 hybrid loved the 2019 version and a smaller footprint entices me alittle.

Man I f****** love cobra. Just ordered a Darkspeed 4h. And honestly I was down to the Gen5's and Forged Tec's. Very close to a full cobra bag.

 

I even have the special edition PTC cobra stand bag.

These are way easier to hit than I expected. The front to back dispersion on a good shot is less than 2m. You know right away you messed up or swing was off. This is probably one set that never gets sold - it’ll stay in the golf closet forever. Wish I had tried them way earlier but bought into the general consensus that I wasn’t good enough for CB/MBs.

Recently started playing Cobras after previously playing Taylormade initially about 10 years ago, and more recently Bridgestone. Love the look of Cobras designs, from putter all the way through driver. Even their bags are awesome. I will say, not sure if its just not been enough time to make a fair judgement but the Forged Tec '22 irons just dont quite feel as good as my Bridgestone JGR HF2 set I had played for the past 4 years. Definitely not changing anytime soon, hopefully with more time ill get more comfortable.

The Darkspeed hybrid really impressed me.  Other than the adjustment, any big difference between the original and the new Adapt?

Big fan of the Tour irons, to the point Im thinking of reshafting them instead of buying new sticks. 
 

Playing the Tour lite X, tried X100s in a fitting and they are so well balanced I could hardly feel the extra weight. 
 

Wedges have been meh, they bite too hard for my liking. Noticed in Fowlers WITB yesterday he bends his wedges 2° weak and I could see how the turf interaction gets much nicer with some extra leading edge relief.

My darkspeed hybrid has been sitting in Indiana for 3 days 😞 I think the expected delivery of today may be an old wives tale.

I wouldn't say that an LS is totally fade biased - my Darkspeed LS certainly is not.  It actually came with 12g in the heel, and 3g in the back and toe, making it pretty easy to square up.  I've since moved the 12g to the back for a little more launch and forgiveness, and have an aftermarket 8g in the heel (3g still in the toe).

 

Club turns over nice, and I have found it much easier to keep settled than some "Max" drivers I've played in the past.

King Forged CBs for three years, then recently came back on board with a set of the King Tours - they are awesome and will be in the bag for a long time. The feel and turf interaction combo just works better for me with Cobra than other brands, and these King Tours now have the forgiveness that I was missing with my CBs. The 3d irons seem like even more of a unicorn too.

 

Also still rocking a RadSpeed Tour 5w that is point and shoot. Baffler rails are amazing and I hope they come back soon. Even if it gets relegated to my backup bag with my King Tec hybrid at some point, I won't make the mistake of getting rid of it like I did with my original F6 Baffler a while back.

Currently playing the Rasdspeed 3w, and do not see it ever coming out of the bag. Had the Radspeed XB driver for a few years, but just got fit into the DS Adapt Max D driver. It is a game changer for me. Before I had a strong push fade that faded alot more than I wanted most days. I really struggled with driver, to the point of using an iron or my 3w off the tee most shots. The Max D moved my shot pattern from a push fade/slice to a straight shot/small draw. Unbelievable. Now I hit almost all of my fairways and use driver on every hole I can. It took me a few rounds to trust what was happening and get my aiming point corrected, but now it is a club I do not have to think about at all.

The KTs have the consistency of a tour forging (bc they are) and the forgiveness of a GI. Incredible sticks. Don’t love their looks, but love their performance. 
 

great secondary market pricing too if anyone is so inclined.

The 2023 King Tours are the best irons I've ever played. The two sets previous that I gamed were the JPX 919 tours (maybe the best looking irons from the back ever but feel was garbage) and Miura CB-501s. In the past I've also played the Amp Cell Pros which felt lovely as well. The KTs are the best blend of feel (equal to the Miuras) and forgiveness in one package. My only criticism is they look a bit chunky and clunky in the 8-pw. This is their 3rd season in the bag and I can't see changing anytime soon.

Amp Cell Pros are my favorite looking iron of all time. My game doesn’t justify them though. I got KTs. Love everything about them, honestly, except their looks. It’s not the size that bothers me, but the weird badging. Oh well.
