Honestly no. I switched to the tp5x last year and never looked back. Tried the new v1 a few weeks back and it was as long as the tp5x for me off the driver but longer off all the other clubs. I was flying greens suddenly, which was weird. So I’ve gone back to my tp5x that I know and trust, just a solid all round ball.

So the tp5x has been more consistent and slightly higher spin than newest prov1? Interesting

Yes for my game. Just found the pro v1 could be a bit jumpy with the irons, even from the fairway. The legendary durability has faded too. Not tried the new v1x as it doesn’t suit my game anymore.

Honestly, I played the TP5 for years. Started playing the Vice Pro and now have completely changed to the Maxfli Tour. The Vice Pro are really good and "feel" a tad softer than the Maxfli Tour. The Maxfli Tour are not as spinny as the TP5 but are equal or a bit more than the ProV1. The Maxfli Tour is a Cast Urethane and blindly I wouldn't be able to tell a difference between them and the ProV or TP5. Due to the ready availability at DSG and GG with coupons and the 4 doz. deal I've gone all in. I have about 1 doz. of the 2021-2022 I'm going through now. 6 dozen of the 2023-2024 I have. I haven't tried the 2025 versions yet but from what I'm reading, they seem to feel a bit "softer" and great performance. I'll be picking up 4 dozen of them when the 20% off or $20 off $100 deal pops up. Get them for $25-$28/dozen when that deal hits.

I still play TP5 when I get a good deal or from father's day gifts. Problem is I don't lose balls like I used to so end up with a cabinet full of golf balls and I stand on the first tee trying to figure out what ball I'm playing today...LOL
