So at that price they are meant to be gamed, but not many people have the game to play them.  I doubt that many people who are playing blades will find these are more suited to their game than the many blades already on the market.

 

I'm sure some people will collect them, but anyone buying to make a profit in the future is not being very smart.

The challange is finding a set of p730s that don’t looks they have hit a thousand range balls on the sandiest course in Florida every day for the past 8 years.  Most of them are all browned out and  bag chattered to death.  And those are the better conditioned listings, most are worse than I described above

Same. With the exception of I went .5 over length, which i think is really only .25 over length when measuring in a Mitchell device.

yea, I haven't looked at used ones but I would imagine that is true. The TW irons show wear super easy for some reason, the chrome on them. I have seen people buy them and blast the chrome off/refinish, they look great with a matte finish.

Interesting that Taylormade Eu and Taylormade US has different specs for Rorys Irons. Must be the reason he didnt complete his grand slam before now 😂

I've slowly built up a set of P730s, finding one or two clubs at a time.  Only missing the 7i.  Have P750 3 and 4 iron at the top. 

 

I'm much more of a JDM forged cavity guy, and enjoy a fair bit of forgiveness.  But of all the blades I've built up, I find the 730 to be surprisingly easy to hit.  I've actually had my best round at my home club using them (with a Tour Preferred MB 7i in the missing slot.)  

 

I've got three P7MB arriving soon, so I'm curious how they feel in comparison.

Has TM ever described the differences with the DJ Proto versions?  I'm curious if they also use the TW grooves.

Even the 45 year old plain jane dynamic golds are an upcharge.  It seems like everything is additional except for random shafts they need to clear out. It's a soft price increase under the guise of 'customization' IMO.

Any pics or articles I've seen suggested Rory was TW grooves, slightly shorter blade and thinner topline and DJ had a pretty standard P730 just slightly longer blade length. Interested to hear otherwise.

The lz are now a 50 dollar shaft if you go buy a set to have them installed.  One of the more expensive steel options aftermarket.  Makes sense they are a high up charge option.

weird that they only have thinner topline in the 7 and 8 irons. What about the 9 and pw, lol. Also, they didn't mention blade length being shorter on these.
