Thank you - Wanted to trade-in my Elyte for a combo set of ai300/200.

But was concerned a replacement on the Ai2/3's were around the corner since they are on sale.

I would say if you like the current model and they fit you well, take advantage if the trade in bonus and sale discount

 

the new irons won’t have those….

I love seeing things ahead of time. One thing I know, is what Callaway releases, will look way better than any of the stuff we find before the release. Looking at photos ahead of time, aren't always flattering. The Ping i240 was the same. The wrong photo can put people off before they see the brilliance of the new lines.

I asked and the rep I talked to said ai200 and ai300 are not being replaced, it’s just a summer sale. Not a big discount at 10 percent off, but nice when combined with the trade-in bonus. That all ends soon.
 

At the same time, the reps are telling people the ai150 is a new iron being released that will replace the Apex Pro, but it also may appeal to the same target market as the ai200. It’s basically a smaller ai200. The ai150 is coming out soon, definitely before the end of July. 
 

Apex DCB = Apex ai300

Standard Apex = Apex ai200

Apex Pro = upcoming Apex ai150

This is what I heard from the fitter who fit me for ai200. He said the ai150 should be out by August.

They are sharp and can be acquired from tour-spec golf. Heck, why not consider rereleasing the 2007 x-forged or Razr x-forged? I’m not sure they are 680 level iconic but, it’s a thought.

exactly what I was thinking. J40 DPC. Also Bridgestone brought the “technology” back with their more recent line the 223+.
