It really drives me nuts how good Callaway used to be at offering a majority of products like this in LH versus where they are today.  Not sure if LH is coming for these at a later date, but it must be a sign of the times. 

Also continue to be hearing MB is 2026 product.

I really hope Japan starts to product more left handed people. I am officially done with Callaway.  Their releases already confused me. I was eagerly anticipating the release of these irons.  Now, no left handed irons? I will stick with Titleist and Ping (and PXG which I might start looking at).  They do a great job of offering most of their clubs in left hand.  

Luckily for Callaway, I (and all left handlers) make up a tiny part of the market.

So just went out to the site and saw this.  Assume the players club is the XForged and the players distance is the AI150 (Pro replacement)?

I was in Japan last December and waggled an entire set of the X forged and almost bought them on that alone, they just really fit my eye at address.

Anxious to see how the XForged Max compares to the Ai150. 

The XForged iron line has been most likely my favorite thru the years. I've had the 07, 09, 13, and the 21.

Absolutely - have played the last 3 generations of Apex Pros and will most likely keep the 4 and 5 iron from the 23 Pros to pair with a 6-W of the Xforged.

To not have a set A wedge in the stronger lofted Max set is borderline incompetence. Limited graphite to 355 variants is also somewhat counterintuitive, I’d love to hit these long irons in this set with the 370 tip Dart 80 they offer in the apex line.
 

Edit: a bud in Callaway Custom shop told me the Max will have 370 variant shafts, which is perfect for me. The regular x-forged will be .355. This makes perfect sense, I stand corrected. Now give me a gap wedge.🤪

 

 In hand, the Max is a pretty sweet club, a nice alternative for mid caps that want forgiveness and help but still want pure forged feel, a modern version of Mizuno’s comp ez.

Are these not the same as the X forged that was released over a year ago in Japan that were for sale on tour spec? Decent amount of tour players using as well? So technically this isn’t a new iron just now being produced for US market?
