This ball is legit! The golfball addict on YT is hit or miss sometimes, but this is everything I could want in a ball, let alone 2 piece ionomer.

My prior go-to ball was the Pinnacle Rush, but I’ve never been super happy with no decent alignment aid nor the durability. For durability the Noodle Easy Distance was better than the Rush, but these are discontinued and have a poor alignment side. This Noodle ED is a firmer, more scuff resistant version of its cousin, the L&S. 
 

FF to today, the Boost has all of these great attributes and more. Top 5 for me:

 

1. Consistency of spin/distance across the bag.

2. Superior durability, up there with anything, better than most. 
3. Great alignment line(hate using markers, they never look good/rub off eventually and/smear)

4. Cost, cost, cost!

5. Forgiving off driver(time will tell, but I hit a few clanky, off-center drives that went decent distance and straight)

 

Feel is crisp, with a good audible sound on driver and irons. Ball has a medium-firm “sound” to it, but not overly. The impact “feel” in the hands is medium/soft. Hard to describe the difference here, but that’s all I can say. At lower lofts, it has a good smack to it when flushed. My perfect version of a nutted shot. Putting is good, ball has a medium feel/click to it, and the roll is very true. It putted fantastically! 
 

Only thing slightly off, if anything, is a softer “feel” with wedges, partial wedges and chipping. Ball control here is absolutely great, it just gives a softer feeling sensation at impact. Consistent as anything and the spin is good for a surlyn ball, just not exceptional. Weird, cause it does not putt like a soft-soft ball, more mid. Played one ball my entire round and it looks nearly unblemished. I do clean it and my clubs fairly regularly throughout each round, so take that into consideration too. No trees, roots, or rocky paths were hit, but I did manage a few branches on one approach.

I've been playing this all season now and it's still performing very well. If you're into medium compression surlyn, you doing yourself a disservice by not giving these a chance. Price and durability alone make this a no-brainer.
