Best Senior Golf Swing

What, in your opinion from the many versions currently being taught, is the best Senior Golf Swing template?

I've found the "Easiest Swing" and "Setup 4 impact" to be the simplest and easiest for me to emulate. Everything else seems either too complicated or too athletic for my body type and skill level with too much discomfort.

My best club off the tee seems to be my old Wilson 4 wood using a hybrid between ESIG and S4I.

Actually, my tee shots are generally S4I. My irons are ESIG. FWW are more towards S4I. In everything I have to move my feet, or should I say, let them move.

I think most about rhythm, timing, and balance and try to swing as naturally as possible.

So I guess what I'm asking is if any senior golfer have found a good, repeatable swing. Or is that a chimera?

I have no real idea what a "swing template" is....I was taught what I later learned was called "the Ernest Jones "just swing - let the clubhead do the work" ".some 65+years ago.

Ernest Jones was a top amateur in the UK prior to WWI, he was a pilot & lost a leg (not sure if it was above or below the knee or from the hip. Anyway, while he waited for his prothesis, he practiced on one leg (try that - say take one shoe off, to keep it off the ground..now try to swing) after his fitting, he did play golf again & taught very effectively in England. He came to the US as an accomplished player & instructor. MacGregor took him, his clubs are shown in the '38 & '39 catlogs in Kaplan's guide.
Anyway, he was a very successful instructor here in the US...so much so that many other instructors were a wee bit ticked off at this foreigner - but he was successful cuz he stressed keeping it simple - get the proper grip, learn the proper stance & address at the ball - and then just swing (be aware of the clubhead thru the swing)

I guess what I'm wondering is - if you have a swing, why change it? Why not find a Pro who will work with you as you are today, tweak what needs to be, and just play with your swing..
'Course, that implies that your swing was pre-Palmer's "hit the ball with every ounce of muscle in your body" philosophy.

Thanks for this. I'm familiar with Earnest Jones. It's basically doing the same thing. Grip, stance, swing in balance. Feel the club head.

I'm pretty restricted in my movement. Arthritis.

I've been seeking guidance because everything seemed so off this year. Just trying to get better. I'm seeing better shots now. The driver is still a mystery so it's staying home for the foreseeable future. Sadly a pro is not an option $$$ wise. Gotta figure this out on my own.

Me also...traumatic arthritis after a MVA a few decades back & carpal tunnel surgery, last one 3 months ago - now can begin to do some strengthening exercises.

as for Pro lessions...I wasn't thinking along the lines of Club Pro at some public or private CC course, more along the lines of Adult Education or at a range (last instruction I recieved, was at a local Par 3 course owned by a young couple, both held PGA & LPGA cards. He took videos of me actually swinging, examined them & showed to me - he worked with the swing I had (with all the challenges of arthritis, knee replacements, back injuries, shoulder injuries) & tweeked it to improve my basic swing....anyway,

When I play by myself or on Sunday afternoon I can do that. On league night I'm under pressure to score well because I'm filling in for my injured Sunday partner on his league and he has expectations.

But your right. I should just focus on the path and if it followed the aim path. So today that means leaving my driver at home on league night. That thing has a mind of its own.
