Callaway Ti Fusion irons

I’d love to pull the trigger on a set of these. Love the way they feel and love the look at setup, but can’t get over the finish. My golf equipment OCD just can’t take the black finish.

Has anyone if heard of there’s a plan to release these in a tour chrome or brushes finish similar to the other apex irons?

Callaway made a great iron and crapped the bed on the finish with these imo.

Rumor is that Callaway will drop new finishes on the Apex irons that released last year

They are rumored to come out in July

So I would just hold tight, hope and see what comes out

Hopefully they give us preorder buyers a hell of a deal on set that’s finish does not peel like a 10 year olds sun burn after a day at the beach.

Just buy black wedges and everything else in black, ocd issue solved.

I saw a photo in another forum of someone who sandblasted theirs. They looked pretty good afterward.

Play with them often enough and there won't be any black left lol. Does'nt seem to last 5 mins. I saw that other thread, think someone bought them for his son and stripped them down. They looked fantastic.

Bought them last fall, never got along great with them. Maybe it was the DG115 mid shaft, I didn't get the distance I expected, which to me was odd. They were good on heel/toe misses, but not good at all with slightly thin misses.

I used iron covers, which kept the back of the clubs actually in great shape, but the wear I saw on other peoples clubs, even after one round was just unacceptable. The face and sole wore out pretty quickly. If they could just do a raw version, they might do well.

I’ve had black irons before and I can deal

with normal wear, but the chipping/peeling doesn’t cut it for me. Hopefully the satin finish will come out in July.

This is my iron 7 Ti Fusion from last weekend

Only 6 months old, always taken care of (ironcovers)

The black finish is sh•te and now the "fusion' part too......
