Any YouTubers teach a method similar to TGM swinging?

I don't want to go near that yellow book but I'm interested in a more left sided model.  thanks

Pretty much everyone teaches that to be honest. This is the standard thing that everyone teaches they just don't call it that.

The only wildcard that no one teaches is the hitting or 4 barrel procedure and I would not recommend going down that road unless you have some very serious mobility or back issues.

Over the years I've pleaded with TGM teachers to show me an example of someone using a pure "hitting" procedure as they define it. They never have....but they say they are out there...somewhere in the ether...or maybe Pakistan.

Check with Ted Fort in GA. He is a TGM instructor, but more importantly he is a hitter. Worked with Lynn Blake for a good while.

One of the instructors we trained one time at Reunion told us and everyone who would listen (or who he thought would want to listen) that he was a "pure hitter."

Only problem was he kept hitting the ground about 3" behind the ball.

That's about as pure as it gets...if you're a farmer.

I did it for awhile, its doable but very weird.

Is it a legit way to golf? Sure. If you are a big strong dude with flexibility issues I can see it.

Would I teach it? Not unless there are no other options available.

I have met Ted Fort and took a hitting lesson from him when I was going down that rabbit hole. Great guy and a great golfer.

Hitting can be done, I just wouldn't advise it

lol.. I took at lesson from a guy who is TGM certified in Atlanta.. he told me most pros are hitters and used Brooks Koepka as an example.  I think it's one of those things that can work on the range but not on the course.  I told him I switched to swinging (or my interpretation of swinging) mid round and did much better and he seemed really surprised.

I did a 3-day school with Lynn Blake, Ted Fort, and Lee Dietrick out in CA a thousand years ago. They were all outstanding people and it was a fun school.

I'm disappointed that we're apparently still not past the point where we all know there are no such thing as "hitters" and "swingers." 😛

What about Switters?

All "tips" are welcome. Instruction not desired.

My HS basketball coach once told me, "Snow, you're a great shooter. You just ain't much of a hitter."

He also told me, "Snow, you've got deceptive speed. You look slow, but you're even slower than you look."

Yeah, someone met me in a dark ally one time with an old VHS tape of Ted Fort, but i took it home and my player eat the tape just as he started his backswing.

You could probably just discard almost everything on that list and be better off. Too many buzzwords and proprietary swing system terms.
