Tsr3 10* in D1 setting.  Kuro Kage XD 60x in D1 setting.  One of my favorite set ups I’ve ever played.  Plays at 44.5” with 6 grams of hot melt.  To me, it’s the best looking driver down by the ball.  Feels incredible and more forgiving than you think.  My miss is toe side and it performs outstandingly well on my miss.

I really want to test the GT2 and DS Adapt, but I’m scared to even think about hitting another driver right now.  Hitting this tsr3 really good at the moment.

I do.  Qi10 LS is moderately fade biased.  I'm actually surprised that it's spinning a ton for you as I had to grab the 10.5* head(normally play 9*) in order to get enough spin.  If you've already tried adjusting the hosel to every setting and testing at least a few shafts, your only other option would be to play a lower spinning ball and if that doesn't do it, sell it and get another OG SIM head.

Yeah I mean I know my swing is flawed (I come a bit OTT but nothing egregious), but it doesn't really make sense to me that one head is just randomly 750rpm+ more than another with how low spin both models are supposed to be. I switched out my Ventus Blue for a Black and all it really did is tighten dispersion a little.

But yeah I'm on the verge of just chalking it up and trying to source another SIM head (or 2). Ugh

ST-X 230 isn't going anywhere, but just added a Qi10 (core) to my back-up set. Great driver. Never been a TM guy, but this is a really good driver. Would be surprised if the Qi35 is as good.

TM R5 TP 10.5* with Diamana BB R.  I’ve used different R5 TP lofts since 2008ish and changed to a higher loft and R flex several years ago due to some shoulder surgeries.  This club truly marks my passing through time.  🙂

Qi10 9° core head set 2 clicks up to 10.3° on a Ventus Blue stiff (stock shaft).

Still learning how to draw a driver, but quite happy so far. I might upgrade to a Qi35 Max or Qi60 Max next year since I want more forgiveness of the heel. Neutral swing path with a neutral club face can end up in the right fairway bunker if hit off the heel.

Currently playing:

Stealth 2: 9° Plus, 3HL, 4H, 6H all on Ventus Red 5/6/7 stiff

Stealth: 6i - AW on Nippon Pro Modus 105 stiff

Messing aroung with:

Very happy with it. Cannot remember the last time I lost a ball and the drives are longer than what I was able to hit with my Titleist TSR2. The balls roll well on fairways with the LA Golf driver. I was already used to balls landing and stopping. Just sold my Titleist driver.

That club went straight as an arrow for me but 25 yrds shorter on the monitor. Very weird experience. I had the correct model for my swing speed too.

Traded a Callaway Epic Flash 12° driver for a Great Big Bertha 10.5° driver a couple of weeks ago.

Brought a charity raffle win Louisville Golf 200cc Jumbo persimmon driver in bag Monday.

GBB distance was fine, but I kept finding the woods.

Course is The Woods at Cherry Creek.

Hit the 200cc on back nine and was long and straight.

More a collectible club so I don't want to bang it up.

Decided to trade in a Callaway Epic Flash 10.5° driver for a TaylorMade R7 Quad Mini Driver to see if I can hit a 305CC as well as the 200cc.

I have gone back-and-forth between TSi3 and Rogue ST Max LS for the past 3-4 years, and recently switched to a TSR2..

For me...

The TSi3 is the best looking and longest driver I've ever played, on a good strike. For me it gears too much on off-center hits, once you get too far out on the toe. Not the friendliest club in the world, and wasn't designed to be.

The ST Max LS is significantly more stable, more fairways hit, but a little too much spin and doesn't have the ball speed of the Titleist. It also doesn't want to gear left on a nice slight high toe strike. Starts down the right and stays there. Granted that's probably part of it's "forgiveness" factor, but I do like to see the ball go left a little. It's annoying.

I've been wanting something between those 2, and I might have found it in the TSR2 (10 set at 9.25). So far, it seems to have very similar ball speed and spin to the TSi3, likes to gear left a little, and has much more of the Callaway's overall friendliness on a garbage swing.

I've range & on-course tested a number of different heads over these last few years, and this TSR2 is the only one that's seriously caught my attention. Strangely enough, the GT2 did not seem to work for me. Definitely too much spin when I tested it 6 months ago. Who knows, that's probably just me on that day.

I've only hit the TSR around 100 times, so definitely still honeymoon, but so far I am impressed. It's also a relative bargain right now, and that's always nice.

Can’t trust the monitors. Trackman is ok, but the rest fail measuring faster swings. Using flightscope I’m constantly getting a smash of 1.52 to 1.57 and obviously it’s incorrect.

Was playing a 9° sim, recently picked up a 9° tsr2 and put it in play. Was pretty solid. Not sold on the shaft, a tensei av raw white  after playing a diamana zf the last couple years.

Have a zf with Titleist tip on the way.

I’ve played the GT2 for the last 10-12 rounds. It definitely has the occasional low spin long ball for sure but Im not hitting fairways enough. I’m putting the G430 10k back in. It is too good at finding fairways.

I’ve still been playing the same Mizuno ST190G since it came out. For years, I kept trying to kick it out but nothing beat it. This year, it’s been a much more mixed bag off the tee. I think it’s time for something new. Or newer.

Still on my TS4 with EvenFlow White 6.5 currently in the D4 setting if I remember right.

Most consistent and straightest Driver I've ever had, no real plans to change. I did try a GT4, and gained 1mph ball speed and a couple of yards, although I did prefer the feel. Not really worth £500+ tho....

I had been playing a Ping G430 Max off the rack and it served me well, but I decided to do a fitting just for fun and ended up walking out with a Qi35 Max paired with a Ventus Velocore+ shaft. I was always skeptical about how much of a difference a shaft could make (especially at $350+), but after a thorough fitting, it was clear the shaft had a bigger impact on my performance than the head itself. I could have just kept the Ping and upgraded the shaft but I fomoed into upgrading everything.
