Hmmm.......not quite my cup of tea as I sprayed the DI and had some difficulty squaring the face with UB, but I'll pick one up just because I'm a recovering club ho.

Here is the lowdown on the new 2026 Graphite Design Tour AD FI—Flight Intelligence wood shaft. The Tour AD FI model has an entirely new look and is designed to promote Mid-launch conditions and Low to Low/Mid Spin. The tech includes the Torayca M40X & T1100G as well as a new tech story called Tornado Tip Tech.  It is somewhat like the Tour AD GP profile, but not as stiff in the tip.  It could also be described as feeling like a beefed-up Tour AD UB.  

 

 

The retail launch date is 9/5/25 and the street price is $379.00.  Stay tuned to proschoicegolfshafts.com for a website update that will occur on 8/4/25.

Stiff tip apparently makes it harder to go left. I don't know. I've only seen fade/draw bias used to describe shafts on Japanese products... GD being I think the bigger companies that do that.

Seems like this shaft is an update on the TP (which was firm/firm/stiff tip). Slightly stiffer profile (firm+/firm+/stiff tip), which will probably mean a bit less of that “kick” feeling that was present in TP, and obviously the huge “kick” in the DI. I am intrigued…

Ahh, my bad. Didn’t see that post. Based on GD’s chart and descriptions, this seems like a slightly stiffer TP. I played the TP for a number of years (such as great feeling shaft), never hit the XC and briefly tried the DI (quickly learned it wasn’t a match for my swing and release pattern).
