Looks like a take on pxg Allen putter. Its still kinda center shafted with thr way the shaft is inserted into the neck.

Very interesting look.  By the photos they look better than the center shafted, but I guess we will see once they hit stores

I had a day dream during a walk that LAB partnered with Mizuno and they adapted their new M Craft interchangeable head design so you could have any LAB putter thrown into that sweet, sweet milled Mizuno face. If you ordered multiple heads at once they all come balanced. If you get another down the road then they balance off a shaft of your spec at the factory or you send in your shaft and interchangeable head for a balance of your new model.

All labs have an assembled look.  I would try one, I think the alignment lines look so much better.

You will always be stuck with the face ahead of the shaft if the shaft is truly going to align with the center of gravity.  The amount will vary depending on the weight distribution front to back.  It is the nature of the beast.

Lots and lots of people with brand new Oz's will want to swap if this is truly an interchangeable hosel/shaft. Even those like me that have other models. Will LAB offer a retro fit option?

Can’t see retro fit being an option as they drill the heads for the shafts.

I'm not so sure about that. Someone might be able to design a zero torque putter with tungsten protruding a bit on the toe, flush at the heel with a triple bend hosel that gets the shaft at the face. People are very creative.

I give it two weeks before Callaway/Odyssey does the ol' copy/paste for this new LAB model and puts it out.

Sam was on a podcast recently where he stated that purple was in fact coming back and replacing the orange. No mention of when but apparently it’s happening

I think he might have been referring to Odyssey as they are under the Callaway umbrella and they have the  distinction of the most blatant LAB copy outside of Temu

These look great! I picked up the only DF 2.1 in stock the day before JJ won the US Open and they couldn't find a headcover. Store guy said he'd reach to rep to get one. I feel like I'm going to be waiting a longggg time for a call based on how busy the reps are now. In the meantime, I'm starting a trend by using a winter beanie as a headcover.
