Hey everyone,

Been lurking around here for a while, admiring everyone's set up.  I think it's about time to post my entire bag as well.  Been playing this set up the entire 2025 season with some pieces that are newer than others. Enjoy!

 

 

 

Driver - Titleist GT2 9° Tensei 1K Black Stiff Flex

 - Went through a driver fitting and landed on the GT2 and absolutely love it!  The shape of the head, the forgiveness, the distance...all amazing! 

 

3W - Titleist TSR2 15° Tensei 1k Black Stiff Flex

 - Picked this up as an alternative fairway wood.  Spent some time testing a ton of fairway woods (GT, QI 35, Elyte, Ping) and the TSR woods just play better for me.  I put this in the bag when I play courses with some more length or tight fairways.  It is a great second option off the tee and I love it out of the first cut or fairway.

 

4w - Titleist TSR2 16.5° Tensei 1k Black Stiff Flex

 - My everyday fairway wood.  Launches high, lands soft, easy to hit.  Not a huge fan of this off the tee but it works when needed.  This and my 3W take turns in the bag depending on the course and conditions.  I can play this almost like a hybrid, very confident in fairway, first cut, and rough with this club.  There have been times that I will loft it to 18° and play both fairways in the bag instead of my 3 iron.

 

Irons:

3i: Titleist U505 (2024) Tour AD IZ Stiff Flex: Great off the tee, launches in the right window for me, easy to shape, also love it off the deck. The shaft is great and was a surprise for me as I had the AD DI in my 4 iron and love that too.

4i: Titleist U505 (2021) Tour AD DI Stiff Flex: Fits a yardage gap for me.  Love it in the fairway or rough, even do some bump and run chipping with it.  

5I - PW: Titleist T150 Nippon Modus 3 Pro 115 Stiff Flex: Was playing the Mizuno 223 irons with the same shaft, ended up getting a fitting for a gift, and went to just see how things could change.  Ended up loving the T150s and made the switch.  Was totally shocked because the Mizunos were fantastic but the T150s just were more consistent all around.

Wedges - Taylormade MG 4 in 48°, 53°, and 58° Project X 6.0 Wedge Shaft: The 48° and 53° have a good amount of bounce but the 58° is a low bounce lob wedge and I LOVE IT!  Had Vokey SM9s but the TM MG4s with the Project X shafts had the flight I liked and spin numbers were better.  The TMs just suit my eye as well.  Around me right now these wedges are being cleared out, so I may pick up a new set to to keep around.

 

Putter Options

I'm a huge Scotty fan and have been for a long time.  Shifted to a mallet type putter a few years ago and do not regret it!  Right now I'm switching every few rounds between the Phantom 5.2 and 7.2.  I love a plumber's neck blade and when these were put out in stores, I needed to have them!  Not sure which one will end up being my everyday gamer vs. my backup because the are both great!

 

Misc Bag Goodies

Thought I would snap a quick photo of most of the things in my bag.

Ball: Titleist ProV1 - have tested plenty of balls, always come back to the ProV1. Still using some previous generation sleeves up but also trying out the enhanced alignment options Titleist is offering.

Rangefinder: Bushnell Tour V6 Shift - This is newer for me, as it replaced a Precision Pro that had met its fate after years of use.  

Glove: Footjoy Stasof  - Love this glove, order by the box!

Ballmarker/Divot Tools: I have a tendency to collect these, whether I intend to or not!  I am a big fan of the markers that stick into the ground but I'm not overly picky.

Misc.: Grooveit Mini G brush is great to hang on the bag and the Titleist valuables pouch holds all my tees, markers, divot tools, and snacks.

Sunscreen: I always carry a spray and stick.  The Oars and Alps is great for a spray, very light on the skin and I feel it covers for a longer period of time.  I keep a SunBum stick to help with face and ear coverage. Also, always carry chapstick with me no matter the conditions.

Snacks/Electrolytes: Love Clif Bars and lately have been on the Nut Butter ones.  Same goes for the TruBars, great plant based protein option that doesn't taste like a field of grass.  For electrolytes I switch between Liquid IV and LMNT.  I use these in my training for running and biking and feel they work well for me.  On a hot day I will alternate water and electrolytes every other fill up.

Freaking solid bag there. I really like the the looks and feel of the T150 irons very similar to my Mizuno Mp53 irons. Don’t know if I am going to reshaft my Mizunos with Dg Mid 115 or go with the Modus like yours. I have hit both shafts and I am torn.

What were your personal differences testing GT and TSR fairway woods?  From the research I did, some said they were very similar and couldn't justify the cost going into newer GT or some  actually said they hit TSR better.

What a beautiful setup! I have also used the spider hc's on my scotty and I feel like they are really durable and fit so well!

Cost definitely played a role in my decision but spin was also an issue with the GT.  I wanted to like the GT3 so much but I just couldn't get it to work...might have been more user error than anything else.  GT2 didn't provide a huge benefit so I stayed with the TSr2.

If Scotty went to a magnet closure, I would stick with their head covers!  Plus that is the TM HC from the Open at Pinehurst, which is one of my all time favorite places to play!

I stopped by my local shop for a new glove, walked out with two new flat sticks to play around with and almost forgot the glove!  I'm a sucker for older Scotty's and the center shafted Phantom 5 is just to see if I want to get on board with the center shafted craze right now!

Lately, LMNT. When it is humid and hot I lean towards LMNT.  It is different than Liquid IV, much more sodium, but it just mixes in water cleaner.  I have used it in the winter as well to help with acclimatization to altitude while skiing.  On the course it feels lighter even though it is a bit heavy on salt.

Just ordered a Titleist T250U 4i to give the old U505 a run for its money.  We shall see!

SM10's ever a consideration for jumping in the bag given you're so titleist heavy?

I have thought about SM10s but the MG4s just feel good to me.  Once it's time to replace the MG4s I'll probably give the SM10s a hard look.

I am the same way I love my MG wedges. I am going to upgrade to MG4 wedges this off season. For me I am just not a fan of the feel of the Vokey wedges. But I have not tried SM9 or SM10 might need to try them. I had SM6, SM7 and hated them.

That center shafted Phantom looks great.  My gamer is a studio select newport 2.6 center shaft

 

I've been thinking about playing around with a mallet center shaft for awhile.
