Non-Tour Players with a Circle T

Yup.

I think that’s starting to change since there are so many circle ts out there now.  They used to be snatched up pretty quick for asking prices.  Now they go for significantly less than listed prices in most cases.

I rarely saw one in the wild up until about 2020 ish, now I see them once a month maybe and my golf demographic hasn’t changed

I wouldn't buy a circle T based on the notion that it will hold it's value. It may, it may not, but I'd make the purchase knowing it's a collectible and the $$$ to purchase it being from truly disposable income. The collectibles market in general exploded during COVID, which to me is a big red flag.

If people just want to enjoy 5 figure putters that's totally cool. I'm all for letting people be happy.

Personally I could care less who plays what. Having gone thru my Tour Scotty phase play what you like. I do find that for most that are playing Circle T's its strictly a vanity issue much like wearing a Rolex or an AP.  But once again if you can afford one and play one have at it.  And in reality you very rarely see Circle T's at most Public Courses.  And most wouldn't even recognize what they were.  For gear heads that frequent sites like here they are recognized but the majority haven't a clue.

I’d also agree with previous statements of game whatever the hell you want to game.

Personally, I’ve been using my one Circle T more, I’ve lost all distance control with my DF3. I like that mine is not an off the rack typical Circle T one you see in the lotteries or overdone blades, it’s a GoLo with different colors and welded neck but all Scotty OG. It too is just a feeling to me of my hard work paying off for something I like, appreciate and have willingness to use. Does it make me putt better? Absolutely not.

When I put a baby T grip on my DF3 my distance control improved immensely.  Not saying it works for anyone else, but just an idea.

I had always wanted one playing in college.  Once I graduated and got a real job, I finally was able to buy one.  I never had any interest in reselling so I sent it to the custom shop and had it personalized, and played it for at least 5+ years.  I don't use it anymore because it just doesn't fit my stroke, but it's a cool part of my collection now.  I'm all for the notion if you have the means and ability to buy a putter, do whatever you want with it

Many used CT putters cost well under $2k.  Why does everybody think that they are all $10,000 and up?

Where do you all live where you have seen enough CTs in the wild to make any kind of determination on what type of player uses them?  I have never seen one in the wild and only in qualifiers or other higher end play.  I saw a French Laundry not long ago, but if you see that guy, don't put a poop emoji next to him, or play him for money - dude did not even try on way to a 65.

I’m sure some ex elite ams play the circle t they got from Titleist when they were on korn ferry or whatever.  I played with a threesome and all three dudes were in various forms of J’s with circle t’s and shot 110+.   Know plenty of people with tour Cameron’s that can shoot low low… wasn’t an absolute statement.   These aren’t the dudes playing circle t Kombi’ s off eBay for 1199.99

Played a Circle T putter I was given (as a result of being able to play a bit) for years. Retired it from regular use because didn’t want to lose it from air travel and found something with which I putted just as well that could more easily duplicate/replace if needed.
