Looking for higher launch 3 wood

Any recommendations for a 15* 3 wood that launches higher from turf. Currently gaming a TSR3 ventus red shaft but still a very mid/low penetrating ball flight.

Prob not what you were looking for but I agree the 16.5 is where it is at! Switched from a 15 a couple years back and don’t expect to ever change back.

Paradym Hi-Launch 16.5 degree 3 wood here - if you can't launch your 15 degree 3w you likely need more loft, will likely get better contact and doubt you'll lose any distance overall.

Qi35 15 degree launches great, has adjustable loft if you need more. Easier launch off the turf than the Titleist for me, and those were my two finalists.

I was fitted for a 16.5* 3HL with a Senior shaft.  My irons are ladies flex as my  6iron only goes 130 yards.

You need to be swinging driver at least 100, otherwise 16.5 or even a 5w is the play.

Honestly OP its all depended on what you want to spend, you can try putting lead tape on the back of the head for a cheap quick fix but if that doesn't work I would opt to go for a higher spinning head than the TSR3 and keep the ventus red being that it is already a high launch shaft. Maybe a TSR2 with extra wight in the back slot and the adapter loft turned up. just be careful with the GTs because they are lower spinning than previous generations.

Titleist TSR1. I realize it is for low swing speed players, but it is easy to launch.

Simple, just get more loft on the head. Several companies makes 16.5 heads.

I added a Qi35 HL 16.5* fairway wood recently and it's fantastic.  I actually dialed it down to around 15.75* and it still launches so easy even with a lower spin/launch shaft.

I just listened to a podcast (rhymes with "no huts driven", most recent Jul 3 episode) and they specifically talk about how the Titlelist GT1 is getting a lot of attention because it launches high for a 3w. Their point was that even thought it was originally intended for slower swing speed rec players who need help launching the ball, it was getting attention on Tour because of that very characteristic.

Are you wanting more distance? Would you try the tsr2? That tends to launch higher? I also switched to a AI smoke TD and have noticed higher launch than the tsr3 as well.

I've got a 13° Tour Edge C723 that launches super high.

Ping G430 max. Mine gets up there but then flattens out nicely. 3 wood was historically my least favorite club until I stumbled on this one ...I read from reviews that it spins more than others and that's what got my attention. Love the look at address too ...classic pear but still shallow looking due to slightly elongated head length.

I have been playing a TSR2 3w with a tour ad di shaft. It is very mid flight.  Last week I bought a Cobra Darkspeed 3HF 16.5* and put a Diamana TB shaft in it. It is the dream 3w I have been looking for. It flies long and high.

I already had a 3 wood that performed good.

My problem was finding a 5 wood that I liked.

What ended up in my bag is a Callaway Paradigm HL 16.5° 3 wood.

The loft is turned up max to 18°?????

It's the best 5 wood I've ever had.

Great off the tee, and it will fly high and land soft.

My Son is using one with the standard 16.5° loft  for his 3 wood.

The potential yards lost isn't worth the trade off in terms of worse accuracy or average distance gained. You'll hit the 4 wood better with better misses and it can still go a mile it's a win. 4 wood is the answer.

Did you notice it opened up the face? The qi35s look really good to me except they all look really closed, even the tour is a bit closed looking.

Replaced a 15 degree with 16.5. 
 

Goes the same distance, 15 has more roll and 16.5 his higher but same distance and more loft is more forgiving. 
 

Very happy with this change.

When I got the Qi35 I also felt like the face looked a bit closed.  I tried it out in the stock 16.5* setting and was hitting a pretty big draw.  When I knocked it down to 15.75* it sat a little more square but I'm still seeing a bit too much draw.  To be fair, I need to spend a little more time with it.  I haven't really had a reliable option in the 3 wood slot in my bag for a while, as I've been trying to find the right option.  Love that the Qi35 is easy to launch off the deck and it feels fantastic.  I just need some time to get familiar with the ball flight because it definitely wants to turn over more than any other clubs in the bag.

I have a 16.5 degree Titleist 917 F2 with 3 rounds of use I can make you a good deal. With stiff and regular shafts.
