Ventus blue velocore + (x) vs Tensei 1k pro blue (tx)

1k pro blue actually feels more linear.  Both have feel but I wouldn't say they're smooth.  Launch/spin a wash.  1k PB edges out Velo+ blue in stability.  Honestly, I think it comes down to EI profile in this case between the two as both are completely opposite in this regard.  I've tested both in my AI smoke TD.

which shaft was more accurate for you? I'm seeing lots of reviews and they seem very similar shafts in terms of ei and launch/spin.

Velo+ blue= med+/stiff/stiff+

1k PW= stiff+/med+/med

Totally different profiles but launch/spin are a wash.  1K PB was slightly more accurate.

thanks for your input. seems like i'm looking for a more Ventus blue + profile for what i'm looking for in a fairway metal. Tensei 1k pro blue being a bit too "red" for my liking from what i'm hearing.

I have a 1K Blue in my Mini and it's great.

I generally have gamed the 1K whites.  The blue is less stout and gives me more of a left side of the course basis as compared to the right side basis White in the driver.  It also allows me to play the Mini off the deck.

I did not care for the 1K blue in my driver after owning one for a bit. and will actually be testing a Ventus VC Blue + later this week in the driver.
