YMMV PGA Superstore 150% trade in value (In-Store Only)

I was in the PGA Superstore in Grand Rapids, MI yesterday and noticed that they have 50% bump to trade in values running on many of the new clubs.

I was there testing out some wedges and luckily the one that had (by far) the best dispersion and spin was included in the deal.

Yep in store only... it does not show up online.

Yea it's in store.  It's been going on for almost a month and a half.  Not sure how much longer its going to go for.  There are some items that give great trade in values.  Nice thing about it is they give you the tax credit like when you trade in a vehicle as well.

It isn't worth the drive down for me.  The trade in value on my Elyte 9wd wasn't good enough for me to do any deal which is a bummer.

Looks like you would get about $196 in trade for it... not bad but not great by any means.

With the headaches that eBay and BST can bring if there’s something you want/need at the PGA store it can be worth it if you’re trading in the right item.  One example is a GT driver with a Tour AD shaft. It’s one of the few items they give you extra for the shaft probably since it’s an off the rack option. But with the 50% bonus it’s $540 and they honestly don’t even care what Tour AD shaft. The other benefit is being able to trade stuff in with junker shafts because they don’t care.

This is still going on at my local PGA SS, excludes Callaway and Titleist though. Picked up new Ping wedges so worked out lol.

Coincidentally enough, the Ping S159 was the wedge I ended up purchasing also! The dispersion was extraordinarily tight and the spin was exceptional for me.

Is there any way to know how much do AD shafts get in trade in? I have a bunch of regular and senior flex AD shafts...

Unfortunately it’s only on Titleist drivers. If you try to trade in another club with a Tour AD shaft they won’t give you a penny more so it’s pointless

I do have a TSR1 driver and can get the AD shaft to have a titleist tip

Bought a used G430 SFT Driver for $175 at Golf Galaxy a couple years ago, has been my gamer for 2+ years.  PGTSS is gonna give me $141 + 50% = $221 for it on trade-in.

If you go to the PGA tour superstore website it will show all the trade in values. The big boost for tour AD is on the GT drivers though.

Do you know if they are accepting multiple clubs in trade for a single club purchase? I know some stores only accept one club in trade.

Depends on the rep that is processing the trade-in. Last year the PGA SS rep at the counter let me trade in 5 clubs....returned later that day and the store manager said they could only do 1 club.

I offloaded an old 3W and the 50% bump got me back what I paid for it. I have 3 extra clubs riding in my truck just in case I find something else I want.
