There's a case there you'd rather be Phil or Tiger than Scottie...no way are they going to play that approach that conservatively there, obviously he has no idea Li is in trouble on 18 but he knows Fitz is here, you have to go for that.

Unlike other crybaby players that slam clubs I actually enjoy watching him because of his sense of humor that goes along with it.

 

I dig him.  He's very emotional on course, but then appears to be an absolute sweetheart after rounds.  All of his post round interviews are super calm and funny.  And he seems to have a great sense of humor about his antics.

Thank the golf Gods for this. The thought of Harmon being in contention tomorrow would have added nothing to the entertainment value. I think the only way this becomes enthralling is if Rory starts off red hot tomorrow before SS tees off. I don't see Li being a factor.

I could see him quitting at a young age like Byron Nelson or Bobby Jones. He made it clear the other day that golf is nowhere close to his top priority. One of these days he might decide he wants to spend way more time with his family.

You never Know!  Life as a Tour Pro to stay at that level likely has more time away from home than most pro team sports players see.  Every week active is literally a road week.  You can hardly practice much at home having no more than a pitching or putting green in the back yard.

Speaking of shouting…has there ever been a bigger group of whiny little cry babies on the PGA Tour as there is right now?  Between the Blowpig destroying property, Hatton slamming clubs every few holes, and John Rahm acting like a four year old throwing a tantrum as he kicked his club down the fairway yesterday, it just seems like the Tour has an entitled toddler problem and it’s a really bad look.  It may be a small group of guys, but the Tour really should sit these guys down and tell them to start acting like adults.

Rory or Gotterup are the ones who can run Scottie down before the sixth hole.
