Weather update: Starting Saturday evening, areas of fog will begin to move in off the North Sea. Fog will remain over the area overnight and through 10 a.m. Sunday morning. By midday, partial sunshine with much cooler temperatures and winds out of the east-northeast is expected. Fog will return Sunday evening and linger into the evening. Due to the anticipated fog, tee times have been adjusted to a two-tee start and coverage times have been updated accordingly.

 

Actual forecasts seem much less pessimistic. And local webcams currently show a lovely day. I suspect other factors were involved in this decision.

Looks like you need Golf Channel or Fubo to get main broadcast coverage today. Will pretty much be over by noon and CBS isn't discussed on the updated schedule.

I had one once just because but in talking with folks in England, Ireland, Scotland - none of the regular folks I talked with ate anything like that for breakfast - my limited surveys suggested it's more of a "thing" because tourists expect it (again, limited survey, but I asked just about everybody from wait staff, to caddies, to taxi drivers and even B&B hosts).

He has 2 pga championships. And Rory won the open then the next major, the pga championship, in 2014

 

The weather for next weeks Open now doesn’t look too bad, some showers, wind not too high.

The R&A sets up the Open though.  Or do you mean the US Open?  I believe the tour - either the PGA or DP is setting up the golf course this week.
