The good news about Saguto S&T is that he offers “training patterns” for:

Breaking 100

Breaking 90

Breaking 80

Breaking 70

So, you can be shooting 95, take the course on breaking 90, and  for a little extra money just skip to the breaking 70 pattern. That way you don’t really have to bother with the stagnation that a lot of people get in the 85 to 75 range.

I assume in the breaking 70 phase he helps you get rid of the snap hook he gave you to break 90.

So cynical. I like it!

Well, since I started yesterday really trying to promote Seguto S&T, I’ve done a much deeper dive into his material…..and I’m suddenly stunned at how dysfunctional it is.

He didn’t do this on purpose but it seems like almost a shameful betrayal after I’ve gone on the record to give him so much support.

I’m now going to try to make amends to the community by saying that  Seguto has made entirely too many unrealistic promises in his videos.

How many though? It couldn’t be more than 1 or 2 right? Right? RIGHT?

To a new/younger audience on Youtube and social media I 100% understand how they could get sucked into what Saguto is preaching. It reminds me of the original S&T book and a lot of the talking points of the method when it first came out. There is a good bit of useful information in the book, the problem is that there's propaganda sprinkled in as well. Lots of the pictures in the book were either cherry picked, or were from certain angles to mislead the reader into thinking that the all time greats aligned with the S&T method. While it was good to learn that a centered pivot has to have elements of spine extension, turn, and tilting (useful), they would show a picture of Jack Nicklaus appearing to lean his spine towards the target (glossing over the fact his weight did NOT start & stay forward). Because of the misrepresentations made in the book, I think ultimately that's what made the method too polarizing. Claiming Jack, Arnie, Hogan etc were stack and tilt turned knowledgeable people away. It's NOT a conventional swing pattern. I think the DVD was released because of this. I think the book mislead a lot of people.

That's not to discredit the actual method however. If the method helps slicers draw the ball and hit ball first, or makes a good player great than stick with what works.

Yeah, I feel like a total dupe. The only way I can make it up to the community is to become a Seguto Arch nemesis, which also now leads me to the opposite conclusion I had yesterday—which WAS to give people what they want. Now having gone this Seguto affair, I really don’t think people should be allowed to watch that fraudulent self-promoting drivel.

This means that you have to change your look to be the opposite of Tom. That means a full beard without tache and, I dunno, maybe a black suit and kipper tie?

strength before weakness,

journey before destination.

At this point I wouldn't put it past him to introduce a "training pattern" called: Breaking 60......but only for his premium members.

At that point it would become obvious he’s talking about 9 holes…
