Shape and sole and all that are great. It’s based on the TCB shape just a bit bigger. I saw a behind the ball pic and it is not a big club. I think these pics are deceiving and it’s smaller than you are thinking. 
 

The chrome sucks though. Don’t mind chrome on the back but on the hosel and face it’s never good.

Sounds like it’s compact, but w/a thickish top line for the category???

I was able to see them at my club this afternoon. I will say the ai150 had a larger sole than i was expecting but i also have not messed with the apex pro before. Top line was also slightly larger than i was expecting. To me it was similar to P770 in the size department.

AI150 reminds me of what Callaway did with the Rogue ST pro somewhat in shape.  Super hot and hollowed.  It was interesting that none of the tour guys put any into play until you saw them popping up as driving irons/long irons at The Open for a few years.  Seems like this is cut out of the same mold.

Always really liked the look of the Wilson Staff irons. The bore-thru deal just bugs me enough to keep me from pullin the trigger… But I’m weird like that 😊

Did anyone actually say they were ugly? 
I’ve seen don’t fancy the chrome & the TL looks thick… Hardly qualifies as saying in an enraged manner that they are ugly.
But whatever 😊

But I think these look nice. I for one like a chrome iron. Just not a big fan of goose necks or thickish TLs.

I am upset that I directly asked the callaway rep two weeks ago about these and got the "I don't know" not soon answer. SO I bought the TCB, now these appear to be very similar in the shorter irons and not raw and have a AW. 

Damn it Callaway tell your people what is going on, I know their 1st job is to sell clubs but this puts a bad taste on things. 

If they drop a TCB Satin set next week with a 11 iron, I am selling all the Callaway stuff and buying Proto Concept or Miura @TiScape was right again..but at least they are not PINGS 🤩
