Yep. They should've done this standard and released the green as a Limited Edition.

Titleist out there offering a black version of their irons every year and 2 different black versions of the wedges this year kinda takes them out of that 1st group.

This should be flipped. This should have been the standard release and the green should have been a limited offering. Come on Callaway.

Agree!  I have the triple diamond and really don't mind the green at all but this looks WAY better!!

How many refused to buy Elyte because it was green?

How many will now buy one in black (at a higher price)?

How many that have a green one will buy a black one (at a higher price)?

 

Now ask the reverse -- how many would pay extra for a green goblin edition?

 

Whether we like it or not, Callaway will sell more drivers this way than the way some are saying the release should have been done.

 

I'm waiting for a mashup of the last two special editions for the open in Ireland... call it a black and tan 🍻

And Callaway has their song for the promotional commercial.  Show a guy and a girl pulling up in an old truck to a secluded spot.  Only to pull two golf bags out of the back with the Callaway driver in tow and have them start hitting golf balls.

I think I'd buy a green goblin edition on principal, that sounds sick. Hulk shaft too.

The green is really just a few green accents on the bottom of the club. Looks more interesting to me. These one-color releases all look the same. Another plain driver. 
 

I remember the Nike Volt color and I liked it.

I wonder how bad of a color they can choose for next years driver. Can they make it worse than this years green? I mean its probably possible but they would really have to try.

They haven't had a good looking driver since the ERC Fusion (this one looks good though)
