Bettinardi Antidote - SB1/SB2, CB

In the market for a new putter and I am pretty sold on the Bettinardi Antidote series. Still deciding between the SB1 and SB2 - additionally, I am not sure if I should go CB or not. I have not been able to find any CB models in stock in the stores around me to try out.

If anyone has experience with their CB Antidote, I would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

I owned a CB SB1 for a hot minute.

I spent a little bit of time trying the standard and CB versions in the shop. The reason I went CB is because I have had success with it in the past with a few other putters. It felt comfortable. I was used to the Super Stroke grip so I changed out the stock one as it seemed rather thin. The head is rather heavy which I didn't care for. But, at the end of the day, like the LAB putters I have tried, I struggled with a low torque design and didn't feel like forcing the issue and trying to acclimate to it when I was putting so well with my Jailbird. I ended up trading it in.

The decision on whether you need to go with CB is one you really have to figure out for yourself. There are likely enough CB options out there from other OEMs that you can at least try them to see if you like the feel of it. The Betti is pretty much the same other than the head being a bit heavier than most others.
